Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Worship is in-person and online at 10 am on Sundays. A mid-week worship service is also held in-person at 6 pm on Wednesdays.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month. Su***de impacts people of all ages, especially youth and young adults. Pray for hope, relief from suffering and skilled, compassionate care for people who struggle with loneliness, depression and mental illness. Pray that they will find comfort and encouragement in knowing that God abandons no one. Ask God to bless and further the work of Lutheran Su***de Prevention Ministry and other organizations engaged in su***de awareness, education, collaboration and advocacy. Amen.

Join us in the Good Shepherd Classroom as we explore this year's Season of Creation theme, Immersion in Living Water — invitingus to enter the healing, renewing waters of God's creation. Inspired by Ezekiel's vision of a river bringing life wherever it flows, we will explore the story of our own Conestoga River—its past, its present, and its future. Freshly honored as Pennsylvania's 2026 River of the Year, the Conestoga offers a powerful local lens through which to consider stewardship, restoration, and hope. Join Malinda Harnish Clatterbuck, Executive Director of the Conestoga River Club, and Stephanie Lower, member of the Board of Directors, for a conversation about the river's history, its ecological significance, and the role each of us can play in helping creation flourish. Pray that we support and encourage education for all ages, abilities and backgrounds for the sake of nurturing students to become confident, skilled, wise, creative, compassionate and service-minded citizens and disciples of Christ. “He asked his disciples, ‘Who do people say that the Son of Man is?’” (Matthew 16:13). Who do you say Jesus Christ is? How do you respond when someone asks about your faith? Lift up your questions and uncertainties to God and ask the Spirit to give you confidence and clarity when you share your faith story and proclaim Jesus Christ as the true savior whom you love, trust and follow.
