Valley Bible Church

Valley Bible Church We're a Bible-centered, non-denominational church located in Lancaster, California. We believe that to know God truly is to worship Him duly.

Our primary purpose as a church is to “Exalt the Lord our God” (Psalm 99:5, 9). He is holy and fully deserving of all glory, honor and praise (Psalm 29:1, 2). He has demonstrated His authority in creation and in our salvation (Revelation 4:11; 5:9) and He will one day be eternally worshiped as “the King of kings and Lord of lords” (19:14). That is why we prioritize the study, preaching, and teachi

ng of God’s Word at our church (2 Timothy 4:2)-that God might be glorified in all things (1 Corinthians 10:31). Additionally, “whoever loves God must also love his brother” (1 John 4:21), so we are equally as committed to utilizing relationships for the purpose of evangelism and discipleship. This is consistent with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, in which He says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you, for lo I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:19, 20). Our aim is to invest in relationships in order to build one another up in love (Ephesians 4:16) and reach the lost with the good news of Christ (Luke 19:10).

Perspective is so important to living the Christian life. Sometimes, God must take us to the end of the earth before we call upon Him. At other times, we need the higher rock. We see so little of our future, so it is best to trust God in all times, both good and evil. He will always listen, and He will always know what is best.

Jeremiah's words to the Israelites are well-suited for us today. Rather than focusing on the difficulties we face, rather than complain about our lot in life, let us consider our own sin, let us reflect on what we truly deserve, and then we will see that we are blessed indeed. That understanding will help us return to the path of righteousness.

We are happy to invite ladies Jr. High and older to our Women’s Ministry’s spring event tomorrow, Saturday, May 23, from 1:00 to 4:00pm. This year’s theme is biblical peace and there will be a time of worship, teaching, food, and fellowship. The cost is $10.
