Ever since the outbreak of Covid in March, of 2020, I have been producing a video of a sermon or meditation on a weekly basis, and posting it on our church page. It began with my recording of a sermon for our weekly online worship service, and since then has morphed into a video meditation that usually lasts 7 or 8 minutes.
For some time now I have been evaluating this ministry, and have decided that I will no longer post such meditations each week. This decision comes after much thought and prayer.
While I will not post a video meditation on a weekly basis, I do plan to place an occasional or selective commentary or meditation on our page. It may mean posting an inspirational or scriptural message around a special holiday or time of the year, or sharing a commentary (either in print or on video) about an important news event in our nation or the world, trying to bring a Christian perspective on such event.
I am still committed to getting the message of the gospel out. I’ve just decided to change the means of doing this.
Please note that printed copies of the sermons I preach in our Sunday worship services at the church are available on our church’s website: communityumclancaster.org.
I sincerely thank those of you who have been faithful watching the videos, and I’m especially grateful for the encouragement and support I’ve received from some of you.
Please pray that God will still use me to preach the gospel, and to lift up Jesus, so that many will be drawn to Him.
