Hi Everyone!! With Women's Retreat just a short 9 days away, Sue Schneider is sharing with us her testimony of how last year's retreat impacted her life (see the attachment). I've also attached a recent picture of all the work completed on our Camp Bountiful labyrinth.
I would also take this opportunity to again remind everyone:
- to bring your towel or mat for a.m. stretches (stretches can also be done seated).
- Lisa is basing this year's retreat on the book, Way of the Winding Path: A Map for the Labyrinth of Life by Eve Eschner Hogan. Lisa indicated it is a quick read if you want to try and obtain it before retreat, however, that is not required.
- Some of you may be participating in learning to make mats for the homeless out of plastic grocery bags. You are asked to bring plastic grocery bags, those in good shape, either un-used fresh from the store, or gently used, such that the "creases" are still in the bags (in other words, my plastic bags jammed in the bottom of my pantry don't count !!).
-men's socks and underwear and women's personal items will also be collected to donate to OSU Star House, for outreach to homeless young adults.
Below is a tentative schedule for those trying to make plans when to arrive or depart.
