Week 2: Wisdom and Good Decisions

📖 Scripture
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:5 (KJV)

🙏🏽 Prayer
Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up every youth and young adults before You. In a world filled with choices, distractions, pressures, and competing voices, we ask that You grant them Your wisdom.

Help them make decisions that honor You and reflect Your will for their lives. Give them discernment in their friendships, relationships, finances, education, careers, and everyday choices. When they face temptation or difficult situations, give them the courage and strength to choose what is right.

Protect them from impulsive decisions, harmful influences, and the pressure to follow the crowd. Teach them to seek You first and trust Your direction. Surround them with godly mentors, friends, and leaders who will encourage them in their faith and purpose.

May they learn to pray before they decide, listen before they act, and trust You even when the path is unclear. Let Your wisdom guide their steps, Your peace guard their hearts, and Your truth light their way.

🙏🏽 COVERING OUR YOUTH IN PRAYER 🙏🏽

Week 1: Protection & Safety
📖 Psalm 91:11

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up every youth and young adult in our churches, our families, and our communities. We thank You for Your love and care for each one of them.

Lord, place Your hand of protection upon them wherever they go. Keep them safe as they travel, drive, ride with others, work summer jobs, participate in sports and activities, attend camps, spend time with friends, and go about their daily lives.

Protect them from accidents, injuries, sickness, violence, and every plan of the enemy. Let Your angels watch over them and keep them in all their ways. Guard their minds from anxiety and fear. Guard their hearts from discouragement and hopelessness.

Father, help them to make wise decisions and avoid situations that could bring harm. Give them discernment to recognize danger and courage to walk away from unhealthy influences.

May Your favor surround them as a shield. Let them experience Your peace, Your presence, and Your guidance throughout this week. Remind them that they are never alone because You are with them wherever they go.

We trust them into Your care and thank You for being their refuge and strength.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
