Today's the day! 🎉 God's Kids officially starts in our KidsQuest 9:00 classes. Your kids are about to learn something worth talking about, and we don't want it to stop at the classroom door. Our preteens (5th and 6th graders) are starting a brand new series this Sunday called Mind-Blowing Awesomeness.

This week's lesson is called The Boring Box, and the big idea is simple: God is more awesome than I think. We'll be exploring how God is bigger than our minds can ever fully wrap around, kind of like trying to fit the ocean into a small cup. The more we seek Him, the more we discover there's always more to know.

This Sunday we're kicking off a brand new curriculum called God's Kids, starting with the Story of Creation. Our big idea for the week: God made a good world.

We'll be talking with your kids about how God looked over everything He made and saw that it was very good (Genesis 1:31a). Preschool through 4th grade will dig into this together during our 9:00 AM classes.

Want to keep the conversation going at home? Grab the free RightNow Kids App using the QR code in the last slide. It sends you the same lesson video your child watches in class, plus conversation starters, memory verse activities, and prayer prompts, all tied to what they're learning at church.

Sunday was a full day for our KidsQuest family. Our 5th and 6th graders kicked things off during church by decorating cookies for the congregation. ❤

Then in the evening we came back together for Parent Night with Bike Night in the parking lot. Bikes, scooters, skates, popsicles, gaga ball and laughter everywhere you looked.

Parent Night is coming, Sunday Aug 30 from 4 to 6pm in the Student Center.

Back to school season is stressful, for kids and for parents. Dr. Darren Johnson is joining us to talk about "The Mental Health Side of School: How Parents Can Help." He has spent over 30 years working with teens and families and brings real, practical tools you can use at home. You might remember him from the mental health message he and Pastor Scott shared last year.

While the grown ups talk, Scott is running his grilled cheese bar. Kids get their own fun with Bike Night, Gaga Ball and more.

Sign your kids up for the special event and come learn alongside other KQ parents.

Bike Night is back! Grab your bikes, scooters and helmets and meet us Sunday, Aug 30 from 4 to 6pm for an afternoon of playgrounds, Gaga Ball and just plain fun.

This one is for ages 4 through 6th grade. Don't forget to bring your own bike or scooter!

While the kids are riding and playing, we've got something special for the parents too, so stick around for Parent Night happening the same afternoon. More details coming soon.
