What a blessing, “The Happy Hookers” and a few of our spouses delivered bags of goodies to the Shriners Hospital in Greenville today. We had toys, crochet blankets and hats, gift cards for the older kids. What a blessing to hear what the Shriners Hospital does for there patients and families.

Our trip to The Shriner’s Children Hospital!

Today, the “Happy Hookers” took a trip to Shriners Children Hospital in Greenville. Our own Shriner, Jeff Snipes, setup a tour for us. We have sent crochet items of hats and throws for the children and families to choose something for their comfort. We are very proud of our efforts to support this worthy charity. Our hearts were blessed to see the work the hospital does.

We had our Annual Easter Egg Hunt today! Lots of kids and lots of fun with crafts, hunting eggs, lunch, and our special treat from our Bell Town fire engine. From babies to adults fun was had by all! Thank you all who came and a special thank you to those who made this possible. It was a great day to be at CCUMC.

Tomorrow is the Lord's day. I realize it's summer and the heat has been brutal. Regardless we all still need to hear from our God, and be challenged to walk in the light of HIS goodness. God will never abandon you, so don't abandon HIM. We need God and each other; to rise above, looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow in God's house. LU. PM

Thank you thank you, thank you. To all my Facebook friends/family/love ones I was greatly touched for the gifts/calls/text messages throughout this my birthday. Please don’t forget our Ash Wednesday Service for the Camp Creek Charge, beginning at 6 p/m on Wednesday February 14th. Our historical church is located at 4721 Great Falls Highway and all God’s children are invited .
At the conclusion of the service the disposition of ashes will be administered for those who wish to participate.
May our God use this time/occasion to turn our world around and head us back to HIS kingdom.
