🍂🎃Here's what's up with October🎃🍂

OCT 4TH - Corn Maze 🌽🌽🌽
We will be racing through the corn maze at Oregon Dairy together! Admission is $15.60 and there is a stand for snacks and drinks to purchase. We will be leaving from the church at 6:15pm, so make sure you let us know if you need a ride or that you meet us at the church by 6pm!

OCT 18TH - Apple Picking 🍎🍏
(Per your request) To spend time together and prepare for a ministry opportunity, we will be picking apples at Cherry Hill Orchards! We will set aside a portion of what we pick for the pies we will be making later for our Fellowship Visits. If you would like to purchase some of your own apples or other produce, please bring money for your own purchases and remember to set what you would like aside the day of.

OCT 19TH - Pie Baking Party 🍎🥧
With the apples we picked the day before, we will be meeting after church to bake some pies together for upcoming Fellowship Visits. So be prepared by bringing your own lunch or letting us know if we should order lunch together!

Be on the lookout for the evening or weekend we will be visiting shut-ins or other members of our congregation.

OCT 31ST - Harvest Fest
Remember that we have Harvest Fest coming up at the end of the month! The Wednesday night beforehand, we will be setting up the youth room for laser tag. Make sure to sign up to volunteer for the event at the welcome/information desk between the sanctuary and fellowship hall!

FALL IS HERE! 🍂
We got some great things planned for you this year, so check out how we starting our fall this September! 👇

SEPTEMBER 5TH - Flame Night
The first Friday of the month will be out Flame Night; a night where we get together and remind ourselves the vision of Holy Fire Youth and what it means to be people filled with that holy fire! There will be manhunt, campfire, food, and fellowship along with that message on our vision. Invite your friends and join us for a great time! If you wish to meet us at the Heisey's, message Pastor Loretta for the address.

SEPTEMBER 12TH - *New Series* Firm Foundation
We will be starting up a new Friday service series called Firm Foundation. In this series, we will be going back to basics and learning what our foundational beliefs are and maybe even learning some apologetics. It's going to be a great series to keep us in the right track!

SEPTEMBER 19TH - Empanada Order Forms and Money are Due!
Make sure to bring your order forms and money in by service time! If you don't bring them in, we will not be able to make your orders, accept the money for the orders, or have orders for you to give.

SEPTEMBER 20TH - Fall Hike and Picnic
Pack a lunch, bring waters, and put on your sneakers. We are going on a little hike again! Where do you think we'll be going this time?

SEPTEMBER 24TH - See You At The Pole
Every year, SYATP takes place in the fall one morning before your school day starts. Students lead our prayers for their school, peers, teachers, communities, etc together and take time to worship God in the midst of it. Let's take some time to join at your schools and pray together!

SEPTEMBER 25TH-26TH - Breakaway
*HIGH SCHOOLERS ONLY* Breakaway is a great way to check out one of our AG affiliated universities: the University of Valley Forge (UVF). You'll be able to have an overnight experience full of worship, God's word, fun, and education (don't think you're gonna totally get out of it) as you see what it may look like to be in college later on. Even if you aren't going to UVF or aren't sure about where to go, check it out!

Student Ministries: CELEBRATE 🔥
Let's join together to celebrate all the growth our students in our student ministries have experienced this 2024-2025 year as well as celebrate those moving up and graduating.
There'll be lots of encouragement, honoring achievements, and maybe some torches being passed by those moving up or graduating. There's lots to celebrate together!

August is here!!! But before you start going through your back to school blues, we have a few events coming up for you...

FRI AUG 8TH - Service In The Park
That's right! We will be having a service in the park. So bring a friend, bring a blanket or chair to sit on, and bring some games as well! ⚽️🏀⚾️🏈🏐 Time will be announced later this week.

SAT AUG 9TH - Back2SchoolBash
We are having our annual back to school event and NEED YOUR HELP! 🤝 Whether it's praying with younger students as they pick out their backpacks and for their school year or playing games with them after, we would love for you to volunteer with us at this event. If you volunteer, be at the church by 9am! 🕘

FRI AUG 22ND - Prayer And Worship Night
We will be having a time together as school starts back up to pray for your school year and worship God together for all that He has done this past summer as well as praise Him for what's to come. 🙏 There may even be some time for testimonies to be shared... 👀

FRI AUG 29TH - End Of Summer Party
Don't let the end of summer be caught up in the blues 🥺😭 (though you should come dressed in blue 🌀🔷🪩). Let's finish up the summer as you start going back to school with some fun games, some prizes, food, and some quick reminders for the beginning of this new school year!

JULY JULY JULY
We got some fun things planned for you this month! Check it out👇

WED 9TH - Picnic Hike
Let's take some time to enjoy the outdoors together on a (hopefully) calm, nice walk on a trail together. Make sure to meet at the church @ 11am wearing the proper shoes, you have a water, and packed a lunch to take with you. Maybe bring a bible and we'll have a small Bible study for lunch!

SAT 12TH - Servant Stage Show
Not only will we possibly go on a hike in the woods a few days before, but we'll be seeing kids and teens put on the musical "Into The Woods"! Though there will be a concession stand, make sure to eat beforehand and bring at least $5 for donation. The time we will be meeting at the church will be shared soon!

FRI 18th - Bowling
Let's enjoy some fun and, possibly, some competitiveness while bowling together at Leisure Lanes! We will be taking a poll of what time (before Friday night youth service) every one would like to get together for this.

WED 23RD - Cookie Party
We are going to take some time to bake cookies and any other baked goods in preparation for our fellowship visits the following Friday! Feel free to bring your favorite cookie or baked goods recipes to make together. 👉 (NOT TBD) We will start baking at 2pm in the fellowship hall kitchen.

FRI 25TH - Fellowship Visits
Following our cookie party, we will be taking the day (before Friday night service) to visit those in our congregation that may not be able to leave their homes and show them some love! We will be sharing the baked goods we made the Wednesday before and spend time talking and being the Church together. Let's plan on meeting at the church at Noon! *Bring a packed lunch to eat on the way to our first stop.

We're halfway through Spring! Here's what the rest of April and May look like (and check out the church page, , for other events and updates as well):

Sun April 13th - CHOCOLATE EGG PICKUP
If you did not grab your orders or anyone from the church ordered eggs, this is your time to pick up those orders! If we have any extras, they can be bought first-come-first-served.

May - VBS DANCE PRACTICES
VBS is right around the corner! Along with other areas we would love you to serve in (let Pastor Loretta know what you would like to do to serve), we need to get some practice in for the worship dances! If you're interested, let us know that you want the practice dates sent to you.

Sun May 4th - STUDENT MINISTRIES SUNDAY
Student Ministries Sunday is coming up! It is a Sunday where we get to show, again, all our support for you, see all the ways you serve and have grown in your faith, and take some time to honor your teachers. We will have a special guest speaker, Mike Kubus, and both you guys and the kids help lead us into worship. Get ready for more of the love to be poured out on you and to show off God's work within you!

Sat May 24th - CAR WASH
As our last fundraiser before camp, we will be holding a car wash from 9am-12pm in the church parking lot. Get on some clothes and shoes you don't mind getting wet and sudsy and let's clean some cars together! (This fundraiser will be by donation.)

BEFORE Fri May 30th - FINAL CAMP PAYMENT
You read that right: the final camp payment is due before May 30th! It is coming up so quick, so make sure you are fundraising outside of the group fundraisers we are doing. If you need any help finding a fundraiser to do, message Pastor Loretta and she can send you ideas.

Spring is basically here!!! Along with the excitement of temps rising, we got a few things to kick-off our spring events this March!

Friday 21st - UVF Improv
UVF Improv is returning to help us start off the spring with some good ol' laughter! This will be a night full of pizza and laughter. So bring a friend to join us!

Fri 21st - CAMP PERMISSION SLIPS DUE
Summer camp is coming up and we need your permission slips in ASAP to hold your spot! We have one more spot as of today and will be updated soon if there are any more spots we can get for you to join.

Fri-Sat 28th-29th - Fine Arts
We have some awesome students participating in Fine Arts this year! Students participating in photography, please print your photos out ASAP and get them to Pastor Loretta. If you are not participating but would like to attend to see what all Fine Arts is about and like, let Pastor Loretta know by Sunday March 23rd.

Saturday 29th - Church Spring Cleaning (not pictured)
We will be joining the rest of the church to clean the church to brighten it up for the spring and continue to care for our building. It's all a part of being a steward!

Sunday 30th - VBS Volunteer Meeting
Following our morning service, we will be having a volunteer meeting in the Berean Room and talk about all the areas you can help us with during, before, and after VBS. There's many places you can help us out, so come join us!

Sunday 30th - Chocolate Egg Order Forms Due
This month, we are gathering orders for our Chocolate Egg sale! Take this month to get as many orders as you can for your youth account. Make sure you bring in all your orders with the money by the 30th so we can make sure we get all the ingredients in time!

SUN FEB 9TH - CANCELLED
Due to Pastor Loretta being someone who doesn't watch sports, we are cancelling our event to go see a performance by Servant Stage. Please enjoy time with friends and family while you root for your favorite team! (PS, Pastor Loretta's sister loves the Eagles, so, GO BIRDS! 🦅 🦅🦅)

SAT FEB 15TH - Let's Bowl!
In case you haven't gotten enough "bowl" from the Super Bowl, we will be taking on our own bowl by going bowling at Leisure Lanes! We are still working on the time we are going, but here are the options (per game + person): anytime before 1pm - $6.75, 1-9:30pm - $8, Cosmic Bowl 9:30-11:30pm - $15 (per person, unlimited amount of games for 2 hours). Make sure to vote which option you like best!

FRI FEB 28TH - Movie Night!
We will be having a movie night to end the winter months/season off! What movie do you think we should watch? Leave a comment with your ideas!

WED 8TH - GAME NIGHT
We are back to having our Wednesday night services and we are kicking it off with a fun night full of fellowship and whatever games you choose! If you have a game you'd like to play that we don't have, bring it!

SUN 12TH - SOUP SALE
We are getting closer and closer to Winter Retreat and want to make sure you get any extra funds you need. Along with that, others get to enjoy the soup donated this winter time of year! It's a great pup for everyone! Remember, each quart is $7 but $12 for 2!

FRI-SUN 24TH-26TH - WINTER RETREAT
Speaking of Winter Retreat, it's just around the corner! If you attending, a packing list will be available Wednesday the 8th with information on how to fill out the medical JotForm.

This week, we have been joining with other AG churches for a week of prayer. Keep up to date on the prayer prompts each day on our church's story ().
