We would like to acknowledge and appreciate our leader, Bishop Avery Austin, during this clergy appreciation month. Leading people is not an easy task, but he never backs down from the challenge. Through his own life and health challenges, he refused to abort his mission, but was instead always found serving and ministering God’s word. There are not enough good words to say about our leader. He shows up as a father to the fatherless, a friend to the friendless, and an encourager to the discouraged. He leads by example and teaches all who are willing to learn. One of the greatest examples of his leadership made manifest appears in his very own baby brother and our Assistant Pastor, Kelly Austin. Together, this leadership team of God fearing, Bible believing, and truth speaking men help us navigate daily life through the expounding of God’s Holy Word. We honor them during this month as well as the other eleven months of the year. Just know that “A word spoken through Bishop or Assistant Pastor will help you keep the devil at bay.” They speak the unadulterated truth as revealed to them through the Holy Spirit. Keep up the Great Work, men of God! We truly thank you for all you do!
