Clean out your closets, mark your calendars, support our efforts! We will take donated items, or you can come and sell your own by renting a table (or 4). All proceeds benefit the Homeless Advocacy Board and our upcoming projects (including an art exhibit at the Ware Center - details coming soon)! Vendors and crafters too!

All are welcome! The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, April 11, 2025! Come and join us! :)

We have lots of amazing raffle items to bid on including wine tastings from local wineries (Nissley, Walz, Grandview, mini golf tickets from village green, dinner and a show at Dutch Apple, Longwood Garden passes and so many more!

Many folks are reaching out to ask what the plan is for tomorrow. As of right now, the HAB San Jose fundraiser is a go. I do recognize that there is a chance of rain tomorrow, and if we need to postpone until next weekend, we will, but for right now we are going to hope for the best and plan to be outside tomorrow! 🙂  please reach out if you have any questions!

Ways you can still help with the fundraiser event this weekend:

1.Register as a vendor or to sell your yard sale items. Deadline for registration has been extended to 9/26/24.
2. Come shop the weekend of the sale.
3. Donate items for us to sell at the sale (Drop off by Friday the 27th).
4. Volunteer at a table to sell prepriced donated yardsale items and/or merch. (Sat 8-1 or Sunday 12-4)
5. Bake cookies or other baked goods to sell at the event.
6. Come and shop the day of the event
7. Make a donation to the Lancaster Moravian Church or via venmo

OK All! We are one week away from the Homeless Advocacy Board San Jose Yard Sale/Vendor Fair Fundraiser weekend! (Lots of info coming in the next couple days!)

I am in the process of scheduling drop offs and pick ups for your yard sale items. Please let me know if you haven't already if you have items to donate that you would like to be picked up. Drop offs can be made to the church at 227 N. Queen Street Tuesday or Thursday from 9:30 - 1PM or call 717-397-9722 to schedule a drop off or pick/up time.

Do you have items you are wanting to donate to Community Aid, Goodwill, etc. Would you consider donating them to the Homeless Advocacy Board to sell at our fundraising yard sale on September 28th-29th? We'll even come and pick up the items! (within reasonable driving distance) All proceeds from the event will be used to help us get to the National Lived Experience Leadership Conference in San Jose in November!

This Sunday, come and hear my friend Christopher Dreisbach speak at Moravian Center of Lancaster during out Sunday service. I am always moved when I hear him share his story and all the good that he is doing in our community! Our service starts at 10AM and will be followed by a time of games, food, and fellowship. All are welcome.

Hello All!

We are just a few weeks away from the Homeless Advocacy Board fundraiser weekend! 😊

Folks have been asking me how they can support the cause. Here are some ideas:

1. Share the info below or attached widely to encourage people to be a vendor or to sell their yard sale items.
2. Share the info below or attached widely to encourage people to come shop the weekend of the sale.
3. Come and volunteer at a table to sell prepriced donated yardsale items and/or merch.
4. Bake cookies or other baked goods to sell at the event.
5. Donate individually packaged chips, sodas, or bottles of water to sell at the event.
6. Come and volunteer in the office the mornings of September 25th, 26th, and 27th to price yard sale items.
7. Order HAB “Merch” (order forms coming soon)
8. Come and shop the day of the event
9. Make a donation to the Lancaster Moravian Church or via venmo
10. Pray – for the fundraising events, for those going to the conference, and for all the planning going into it.
