Wednesday night after Bible class you all caught me totally off guard with a wonderful extra 60th bday reminder and celebration, complete with balloons and delicious cake and heart-warming notes from so many! You all sure know how to make an old man feel young! The 60-word notes you wrote me will be read and re-read many times, and NOT because memory is failing!

Such kindness and thoughtfulness is why your church is happy and healthy and growing and thriving, because you don’t just do this for your preacher but for so many in so many different ways, including those who first visit us. God blesses those who bless others!

Keep being a blessing - you are a blessed people!
