SAVE THE DATE: our fall study starts September 18th

We will be studying “The Joy of Seeking God First.”, written by local author and speaker Anita Keagy. Anita will open our first session with her study book and DVD series. Anita states, “When I became intentional about meeting with the Lord daily, I have grown to know Him personally.”

Come and join women in studying how to find God in our dissatisfactions, loneliness, restlessness, weakness and brokenness that sometimes life offers. “Seeking God First” is a practical study of how to find joy and peace.

Anita Keagy lives in Washington Boro PA, with her husband Paul. She promises God’s words “You will seek and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13.

It's here!! The book written by our founder Dona Fisher. This is the story of her life and it also includes stories of lives changed throughout the 50 years of our Bible study, Change of Pace.
For now, it is only available on the publishers website but it will be available on Amazon in the near future. This would make a great Christmas gift!!

A difficult relationship between Dona Fisher and her mother prompted her to provide a loving, nurturing, Word-filled environment for women in her community. Change of Pace Women's Bible Study (CPWBS) will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding with a special meeting at Lancaster Alliance Church, showing a continued dedication to seeking life's deeper meaning and God's will.

"(CPWBS' origin) had everything to do with my mother (Ruth Martin) and I," said Dona Fisher, CPWBS' founder. "We didn't get along, and I couldn't deal with it anymore. So we asked, 'What can we do to bring us together?' It's been a bonding of God's words, and (the women have) been there for each other to depend on. We're there for anyone who comes in. It's just a beautiful place; there's love and hugs and tears and crying, and the women leave rejoicing..."
