Avez-vous l'esprit de Christ?

"Avez-vous l'esprit de Christ?"

Est-ce que je vois la beauté d'une vie sainte telle que Jésus l'a vue? Est-ce que je vois des gens perdus à travers ses yeux? Dois-je comprendre le dessein éternel de Dieu avec la même conviction que Jésus avait?

L'apôtre Paul a dit: «Nous avons la pensée de Christ» ( I Corinthiens 2:16 ). Quelles sont les implications d'avoir cet esprit?

Contrairement à la fausse «sagesse» païenne, Paul expose la sagesse de Dieu: «Cela se trouve dans la justice, la sanctification et la sagesse de Dieu en Christ. Dieu a choisi les choses folles du monde pour faire honte aux sages. » Christ est la puissance de Dieu et la sagesse de Dieu.

Dans la magnifique sagesse de Dieu, il a été «très satisfait de la folie du message prêché pour sauver ceux qui croient», et le message prêché est «Christ crucifié».

La personne non régénérée et sensuelle qui vit sa vie comme s'il n'y avait rien au-delà du physique «n'accepte pas les choses de l'Esprit de Dieu; car elles sont une folie pour lui, et il ne peut pas les comprendre parce qu'elles sont appréciées spirituellement »( I Cor. 2:14 ).

En revanche, Paul dit que le croyant en Christ a «reçu» non pas l'esprit du monde, mais l'Esprit qui vient de Dieu, afin que nous puissions connaître les choses que Dieu nous donne librement »(v. 12).

Nous avons la pensée de Christ parce que nous avons le Saint-Esprit qui nous habite. Par conséquent, puisque nous sommes de nouvelles créatures en Christ, notre habitude d'activité mentale doit être semblable à celle de Christ.

L'apôtre Paul utilise le mot «esprit» signifiant l'exercice de l'esprit, y compris nos réponses émotionnelles et spirituelles créant l'activité. Cela fait référence à la compréhension, à l'intelligence et à la présence mentale. C'est toute la connaissance du Christ, y compris les émotions et les volontés basées sur la pensée.

Peut-être que Jean 17 révèle l'esprit du Christ dans sa rare beauté. «Jésus a dit ces choses; et levant les yeux au ciel, il dit: «Père, l'heure est venue; glorifiez votre Fils, afin que le Fils vous glorifie, comme vous lui avez donné autorité sur toute chair, afin que tous ceux que vous lui avez donnés, il donne la vie éternelle »» ( Jean 17: 1-2 ). Telle est la passion de Dieu incarné. Il est venu pour révéler le Père et donner la vie éternelle à tous ceux qui croiront en lui. Dans l'esprit du Christ, nous comprenons la croix. Ce n'est qu'alors que la passion de notre prédication sera «le Christ crucifié». "Car j'ai décidé de ne rien savoir parmi vous, si ce n'est Jésus-Christ et Lui crucifié" ( 1 Cor. 2: 2 ).

L'esprit du Christ est révélé sur la croix. Dans l'esprit du Christ, nous voyons «la beauté de la sainteté». Christ est venu pour révéler la sainteté du Père et le péché du péché. La croix de Jésus expose nos péchés et nous sommes condamnés devant un Dieu juste. La croix révèle l'esprit de notre Sauveur qui ne connaissait aucun péché et s'est tellement identifié à nous qu'il s'est donné comme sacrifice de substitution en notre nom. L'esprit du Christ révèle une attitude de vidage de soi et d'humilité si profonde qu'il se viderait «en prenant la forme d'un serviteur et se ferait à la ressemblance des hommes» et se donnerait une rançon pour le péché. "Se trouvant dans l'apparence d'un homme, il s'est humilié en devenant obéissant jusqu'à la mort, même la mort sur une croix" ( Philippiens 2: 8 ).

Jésus a tout vu en perpétuelle relation avec son Père. Il a vu l'univers entier lié au Père et c'est pour cela qu'il a donné sa vie en obéissant à lui. La principale passion du Christ Jésus était de glorifier son Père en sauvant l'homme pécheur.

«Nous avons la pensée de Christ» lorsque nous voyons le Père dans toute sa sainteté. «Nous avons la pensée de Christ» lorsque nous péchons car cela brise le cœur d'un Dieu saint et juste. Nous avons l'esprit du Sauveur lorsque nous comprenons que la pénalité pour le péché doit être payée en totalité par un substitut divin et sans péché. «Nous avons la pensée de Christ» lorsque nous ressentons la passion de son âme soumise à la volonté de Dieu, jusqu'à la mort.

Si j'ai l'esprit de Christ, je peux voir la beauté infinie de la sainteté telle qu'Il l'a vue quand Il m'a revêtu de la robe de Sa parfaite justice. «Il a fait que celui qui ne connaît pas le péché soit un péché en notre nom, afin que nous devenions justice de Dieu en lui» ( 2 Corinthiens 5:21 ).

Ai-je la même passion de voir des gens perdus comme Il les a vus? Si j'ai l'esprit de Christ, je répandrai ma vie dans un sacrifice obéissant et je croirai en lui et lui ferai confiance.

Écoutez ma prière, oh mon Dieu. Je vous donne mon esprit; laissez-moi penser comme Christ pense. Aidez-moi à faire les choix comme vous le feriez. Je veux faire ce que tu ferais et ressentir comme tu le sens. Aide-moi à t'obéir jusqu'à la mort!

What does intimacy with God mean??

The answer in a word is.....How close...

Intimate means to be close, to draw near, as opposed to being far and distant.?

So how close are we willing to get to the
Lord Jesus Christ today this morning this week or this month and year of 2023 ??

We know this is what He wants.?

But how far are we willing to go.?

To go even deeper, what are the things that keep us back from intimacy with Him.?

What are the things that are displeasing to Him?

Read the verse:

James 4:8

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…”
Intimacy with God....How to achieve it?

Do we get closer to God just because we cut off various activities??

Now. The real issue is where we get our life, what well do we drink from, what do we value??

If we value God, we will spend time with Him and carry Him into our daily activities.? ( APGCI BIBLE COLLEGE)
We need to Carry God Every time

To include our God in all our activities and actions in our life is getting closer to God. This is the real intimacy. Getting Closer to Jesus Christ

According to 1 John 1:9.

1 John 1:9, ESV: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Intimacy with God always begins with repentance from sin as we willingly humble our selves as we kneel before His Throne.

Secondly we need to openly forgive those who have in any way offended us.

And now God will hear the petitions on our hearts as “our house” is swept clean and there’s an open road to God the Father.

This is the way to get intimacy with God.

The model of Intimacy with God:

The model of true intimacy is the Trinity.
God is a Trinity of persons:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Therefore, our intimacy with God (and with each other) is ultimately a reflection of Gods intimacy within the members of APGCI BIBLE COLLEGE UNITED CHURCHES GLOBAL MISSIONARY

This means that intimacy is an essential part of the very nature of God and because we are made in His image, it is natural to us as well.

This is why we are capable of intimacy with others and with God. It is in our nature.

Our intimacy with God first began in the Garden of Adam and Eve when God walked with man (Gen. 2 3).

It was something that God desired. As we know, Adam sinned and the intimacy with God was lost.

But, God had a plan and He covered Adam and Eve with animal skins and shedding blood in the process (typifying the sacrifice of Christ in the future) so that the fellowship with mankind could be restored.

This was realized at the cross where Jesus became sin on our behalf

(2 Cor. 5:21) and bore our sins in His body
(1 Pet. 2:24).

Therefore, we are able to come to God through Jesus our mediator (1 Tim. 2:5).

Practical Steps toward Intimacy

Step 1: Reading the word of God

Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” (John 6:35)

God gave us a clear picture of what He’s like, and He put it all down in a book that we can use to learn and remind ourselves of His nature.

In the Bible we see how God interacts with man, how He communicates, and the topics He sees as priorities.

If we want to know God in a deeper way, if we want to draw closer to his heart then we need to be spending time in His word consistently daily.

If we don’t feed ourselves with the Word of God on the inside, we dry up. Yes 👍

2. Worship

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. (John 4:24)

In times of worship, we declare the truth of who
LORD is.

Through worship we align our will to God’s desire and are able to reset our focus on the One who is our Maker, Creator, and Lord.

As we worship, we see Him as He is the One with all power, all authority, who is compassionate and sovereign over every part of our lives and this world.

We gain a greater understanding of God and who He is.

The Experience of Intimacy

At the Time of His Chrisifition He enters our life. At the cross, he puts our cold, hateful humanity to death.

In the resurrection, He rises as the true Man of God.

In the ascension, He carries us up with him to the Father's right hand.

At Pentecost, he pours out his Spirit to seal the believer into himself
(Ephesians 1:13).

In the gospel, we are caught up into God's own intimacy.

Again we must stress, this is nothing of our own doing. We have not decided to 'join the party'.

Instead we have been seized, carried and now seated in Christ at the Father's right hand.

The way of intimacy has not been our way made with God, but his way made with us.

Nevertheless, this is where the believer really stands: in Christ, filled with the Spirit of adoption and calling on our dear Abba (Galatians 4:4-6).

True Christianity is not about obtaining favour from God. It's about sharing by the Spirit in the eternal intimacy of Father and Son.

No wonder Peter can say we "participate in the divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4).
