🏕️ .avlifechurch SUMMER CAMP IS COMING SOON! 🌲

Calling all junior high and high school students! Join us July 27–29 in the beautiful Tehachapi Mountains for three unforgettable days of worship, fun, friendship, games, and encounters with Jesus!

Camp is just $90, and registration forms will be available this Sunday! We never want finances to keep a student from experiencing what God has in store, so please see Pastor Danny if you need support getting to camp.

We can’t wait to worship with you tomorrow!

Join us at 10:00 AM as we gather to lift high the name of Jesus, celebrate the men of faith in our lives, and continue our series: Proclaim Release to the Captives.

Also, if you’re a father, grandfather, mentor, coach, spiritual father, or faithful brother in Christ, we want to honor the men who lead others to follow Jesus with a special gift and place to take pictures with your loved ones!

Come expectant. Come ready to worship. Come ready to experience the freedom that Christ brings!

Tonight our .avlifechurch students gathered around the fire, shared some laughs, enjoyed s’mores, and opened God’s Word together. We believe life change happens in community as we grow in our relationship with Jesus and encourage one another in faith.

Father’s Day is about honoring the men of faith who pray, serve, mentor, encourage, teach, and model what it looks like to follow Christ. Whether you’re a father, grandfather, uncle, coach, mentor, spiritual father, or faithful brother in Christ, we want to honor you!

This Sunday, we were reminded that Jesus came to proclaim release to the captives. 🙌

Captivity doesn’t always look like chains. Sometimes it looks like deception, temptation, fear, shame, pride, addiction, or believing lies that keep us from walking in God’s freedom.

The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus didn’t just identify our bondage—He came to break it.

✨ Christ redeemed us.
✨ Christ forgave us.
✨ Christ rescued us from darkness.
✨ Christ set us free.

“For freedom, Christ set us free. Stand firm, then, and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.” - Galatians 5:1

As followers of Jesus, we don’t just receive this freedom—we proclaim it. The same Good News that set us free is the message our world desperately needs to hear.

May we walk in freedom, stand in truth, and boldly share the hope of Jesus with those around us this week.
