Hey everyone we have 17 days left until we make our move to California! We are so excited to move to Lancaster to start this ministry and to start our lives in this city. We are getting all of our stuff packed up and preparing to load up the truck to move out there.

We are a little over 50% fundraised for the 2 years which is just amazing! If you want to partner with us please reach out to me so I could talk with you on the phone about what that would look like, whether that would be a monthly partnership or a one-time donation. Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well! We are so excited to move to California at the end of the summer. Here are just some updates about the residency for you to know a little bit more of what it will be about!

It is a 2 year residency program where I will serve as a minister at Real Life Church in Southern California in a city called Lancaster.

Lancaster is a suburb of Los Angeles that has a considerable amount of poverty in the city. There are high rates of homelessness, foster children, and broken families.

The residency will equip me with the tools needed for a lifelong ministry by gaining hands on experience from seasoned ministers, weekly leadership classes, and monthly meetings with a mentor in the church.

Most people in ministry do not last longer than 5 years, I want to do everything that I can to not be apart of that statistic. I desire to have a lifelong ministry and I am excited to start this residency as it will prepare me for the lifelong ministry that I desire to have.

To do all of this we need to fundraise for 2/3 of the salary for the entire 2 years. This is an amazing opportunity for us to go into a new culture to serve Jesus, grow in my pastoral skills, and to pursue a life of ministry that God has called us into!

Big news!!

Recently, I have accepted a 2 year residency program at Real Life Church in Lancaster, California. Sydney and I are so excited about this opportunity and for our upcoming season as we prepare to head west!

In this residency I will have the opportunity to gain ministry experience under amazing mentorship in a part of the country that is longing for Jesus.
