Fr. Joe reached Santiago today and was able to celebrate the Eucharist at Iglesia de San Félix de Solovio. This church is one of the oldest churches in Santiago and is currently being used for Anglican services. Fr. Joe was joined by Fr. Daniel Moore (the current Anglican chaplain in Santiago) and a special visitor: The Rt. Rev. Carlos López-Lozano, the Anglican Bishop for the Spanish Episcopal Church.

St. John’s was busy tending to God’s creation this weekend. On Saturday, parishioners gathered to plant flowers and care for the Betty Finney AIDS Memorial Garden located on West Lemon Street. And on Sunday between our two services, the kids were busy planting in the raised beds behind the Church.
