Rev Robert Middleton the Bible says in JOHN 17:3'14,17; (3) Now this is the eternal life:that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (14) I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.(17) Sanctify them by truth;your word is truth.(God's explanation of these scriptures: God wants you to understand eternal life requires you and I to enter into a personal relationship with God in Jesus Christ. When we admit our sin and turn away from it. Christ's love lives in each and everyone of us through the Holy Spirit. And know that the world doesn't hate you, it hates the Christian values you stand for. Know and understand your values are different than the world's. Know that by serving Christ you become Sanctified (set apart for sacred use, cleansed and made Holy " Yes You." Through believing and obeying the word. (See HEBREWS 4:12)you and I have already accepted forgiveness through Christ's sacrificial death (see Hebrews 7:26-27)Remember a daily cleansing of our minds and hearts in God's word has a purifying effect on us. Scriptures points out sin and motivates us to confess to Christ.He renews our relationship with him,and he puts us back on the right path amen.
