Recently I was wondering, "If Heavenly Father was in charge of Mother's Day, how would it be different?" I believe it wouldn't be called Mother's Day at all, I think He would call it Daughter's Day. President Russell M. Nelson said, "A woman's richest rewards will come as she rises to fulfill her destiny as a devoted daughter of God". Our Heavenly Father is not waiting for us to become all grown up and perfect. He sees us lovingly as His growing daughters. Whatever stage of life we are in, whatever roles and challenges we have, we can know that our Heavenly Father cherishes us and it is through the loving Atonement of His Son, Jesus Christ, that we can truly fulfill our destinies as Daughters of God.
