Sunday is the First Sunday after Christmas Day. Come at 9:30 a.m. for our annual Hot Chocolate Bar served by Cindy and Max Pitt. At the 10:45 a.m. service Jim Doty Jr. is in charge. The congregation will have an opportunity for sharing.

Join us for Advent Vespers this Wednesday (Dec 17th) at Bloomington Community of Christ. Soup supper is served at 6 pm with a short intergenerational worship at 6:45 pm. Lisa Stobbe will lead us as we "Prepare for Joy” and the monologue will be presented by Debra Higdon. Amidst all the hustle and bustle of the season, Advent Vespers are a meaningful way to take time out to "Prepare Him Room" this Christmas.

This Sunday is the Children's Christmas Service. Sandy Ranney is the pianist for the service. Julie Rivera is in charge. Lots of youth are providing ministry.

The last Advent Vesper Service is Wednesday, December 17. It begins with a Soup Supper at 6:00 p.m. followed by a short intergenerational worship at 6:45 p.m.

Kevin Brunner is in charge of a Thanksgiving Service with the theme, "Give Gratitude to God for the Blessings of Life." Melissa Horzuesky is our pianist for the service.

Food Pantry Support: Please plan to give generously to the Food Pantry this Sunday, November 23 during the Disciples Generous Response. We will be filling the wagon with financial gifts and birthday sacks for the Food Pantry. Your generosity continues to be a blessing to the community. Thank you!

Following the service, we will share in our annual Thanksgiving Potluck Meal. Turkey and Ham and potatoes will be provided. Please bring sides and desserts to share.

At 7:00 p.m. is the Community Thanksgiving Service at the Andover Congregation. Lisa Stobbe will preside and Joel Loving will bring the message.

Breakfast & Fellowship 9:30-10am

Sunday School for youth and adults 10-10:45am

Harvest Meal/Fundraiser 12:30-1:30pm

We hope you will join us Sunday for worship and fellowship. Join us for Food and Fellowship at 9:30a.m. followed by Church School classes, and Worship at 10:45.

Max Pitt will be in charge of the Service of Celebration, with a focus on the Mission Initiative of Pursue Peace and Abolish Poverty and End Suffering. We will share in the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.

Following the service, plan to stay for the Harvest Dinner Fundraiser.

If you are unable to attend the service and wish to have Communion brought to your home, please call the church at 641-784-7728 before noon.
