Great news! Summer Festival 2026 online teachings with simultaneous translation will now be available to live stream. Join us in the World Peace Temple in Manjushri KMC to enjoy the teachings and commentaries as they are given.

LIVE STREAMING AND VIDEO ON DEMAND: For those who have registered to participate online, each teaching and meditation session will be streamed live according to the Festival timetable. Missed a session? No worries! The video on demand will be available shortly after the end of the live session, and you can access the recordings for several weeks after the Festival

PLEASE NOTE:
Week 2 is open to everyone in person. To participate online you must previously have received the Highest Yoga Ta**ra empowerments of Heruka Body Mandala and Vajrayogini within the New Kadampa Tradition. The empowerments will not be available online.

Loss is universal, a true suffering. We call this type of suffering, grief. But Buddha taught that pure love — including our love for the departed — brings only peace.

If we look deeply, we find that our suffering comes not from loss itself but the negative mind of desirous attachment.

Join us for a workshop to explore the nature of this attachment and Buddhist ways of diminishing it, allowing us to release the healing potential of love. 💕

In this Saturday series, we will study Buddhist methods to shift your perspective from external challenges to internal responses.

Exploring meditations that use compassion and wisdom to transform negativity into positive states like love and acceptance, we can recognize that true peace comes from changing our mind, not the situation.

And as we strengthen our practice we can even develop the mental flexibility to welcome problems as opportunities for spiritual growth! What a great goal for the new year!
