VBS starts this Sunday, June 7th and runs through Thursday, 6-8pm! Let’s “SHINE” for Jesus with the Go Fish Guys!
Join us Thursday night at 7:30pm for a short program as the kids share what they learned during the week! Rootbeer floats will follow in fellowship hall! Everyone is welcome!!
The roses at church are in need of a little TLC and a caring hand to help them thrive again. If you enjoy gardening and are up for the challenge, please contact the church office for more information.
Sanctuary Carpet Update! We are moving forward with the project and putting a committee together to select the carpet. If you would like to be on the committee, please contact Jill Irlbeck 507-640-3020. The estimate for new carpet and installation will total approximately $10,400 ($7,400 for the carpet and $3,000 for installation). To support this project, the church is establishing a dedicated fund. If you would like to contribute, please use the envelopes in the pews for your donation and mark it ‘carpet’. We plan to have it installed this summer.

Packages” donated to WAFER. It truly touches our clients’ heart to see they can take one of these for their child’s birthday!
LCMC Gathering is October 4-7, 2026 in Des Moines, IA. We would like to send one or two delegates. Pastor Tom & Sandy will be attending as well. Your hotel, mileage, and registration are paid for and most meals are covered at the gathering. There are different keynote speakers, break-out sessions with great information tailored towards how you serve and it is also a great way to network for a possible new Pastor for our church! Please contact the church office or a council member by June 19th if you are interested in going as the early registration discount deadline is fast approaching. Sons of Norway Riverfest Smorgasbord & Bake Sale on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 11am—1pm at the Cottonwood County Historical Society. Come and enjoy some of your favorite Scandinavian foods including open face sandwiches, lefse, rhubarb & other desserts. Details on the bulletin board.

Hunger is a growing reality across our communities, and more families than ever are relying on food assistance. Yet when we come together with compassion and purpose, we help remove the stigma and make it easier for neighbors to seek support. Providing food is about more than meeting a basic need—it brings relief, restores dignity, and offers hope during difficult times. By sharing these resources and spreading the word, we ensure that those who are struggling know they are not alone & that help is within reach.
You can use the envelope in the pews or your own envelope and write "Harvest Heartland" on it to designate for mission giving. You may also give your donation online via our website or use the link below and select ’mission’.
