BLAST is starting back up this Sunday, September 7th at the First Baptist Church, Lamar. We will have a meal @ 5:00 pm followed by Bible Study & Activities from 5:30-6:50 pm. Children ages 4 thru 6th Grade welcome. We would love to have your child/children join us. Call the Church Office at 682-3538 for more information.

Thanks to all of you who came to the program and all of the people who made it possible. Ann did a great job! Your kids put on an awesome performance! We are so blessed to share in their lives! I pray you have a blessed Christmas!

The practice for SECRET OF SNOWFLAKE COUNTY looked good tonight! It is really going to be cute! Your child(ren) should have brought home a note about practice Wed after school. If at all possible, please pick them up from school and drop them off at church. If not, there will be transportation. Please read the note and fill out the form to ride the van as well as having a note saying they will be riding the van to church. If you have any questions, please contact Ann Stahl or Pam Caruthers at church. The kids will practice next Sunday at 4 with the program at 6. There will be a fellowship following. The Christmas program is coming along wonderfully! It is going to be a neat program. He is the schedule for the next few weeks.
• Sunday, December 2, 4:15 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. We will break for supper at 5:00 p.m. and have our regular BLAST schedule.

• Also, on Sunday December 2, we will be decorating our Christmas tree in the Fellowship Hall. Please have your child make a Christmas ornament this week and bring to hang on the tree.

• Sunday, December 9, 4:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This entire time will be devoted to rehearsing for “The Secret of Snowflake County” in the Fellowship Hall. A meal will be served.

• Sunday, December 16, 4:00 p.m. The boys and girls will practice before they present “The Secret of Snowflake County” at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Parents, you are invited to join us at 6:00. Be sure to invite your family and friends for this musical celebration of the birth of Jesus. The boys and girls will have a light meal at 5:30 p.m. Cookies and punch will be served in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the program.

BLAST will not meet again until after Christmas break. We will resume Sunday, January 6 with our regular times and schedule. Thank you for sharing your children with us each week.
