It is now National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15, 2024). The Knights of Columbus is consecrated to Mary under her title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and so we invite you to join us as we begin this month in prayer to her:

“Mother of Mercy, Teacher of hidden and silent sacrifice, to you, who come to meet us sinners, we dedicate on this day all our being and all our love. We also dedicate to you our life, our work, our joys, our infirmities and our sorrows. Grant peace, justice and prosperity to our peoples; for we entrust to your care all that we have and all that we are, Our Lady and Mother. We wish to be entirely yours and to walk with you along the way of complete faithfulness to Jesus Christ in His Church; hold us always with your loving hand. Amen.”

The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments Tuesday, March 26, in a case that could restore safety limits on the accessibility of abortion pills, which now account for more than 60% of abortions in the United States. In response, the U.S. bishops have asked Catholics to join a focused effort of prayer for the end of abortion and the protection of women and preborn children, starting March 25 and continuing until a decision is released, probably in June.
