Summer is right around the corner, and we have an amazing opportunity for families, friends, and the community to take part in our Neighborhood VBS! This Sunday, on May 3rd, we’ll be hosting a VBS Interest Meeting for parents and families who want to learn more about what to can expect, and for anyone interested in serving! We’ll be sharing the vision for this year, get your questions answered, and find the right spot for your family to get involved.
Whether you enjoy leading small groups, coordinating games, or simply want to see what VBS is all about before signing up your family, we would love to have you with us!

God asks us to help each other.

About this week:
Art isn't just about putting colors on a canvas to make something beautiful, our creations can help people too! This week we heard about the time Elisha worked with a widow to help get her out of debt. Elisha knew she had a need and used his creativity to help her because God asks us to help each other.

This week's BIG IDEA:
God is always with me.

About this week:
If you want to become the best baker, you'll need to find someone willing to share their experience and wisdom with you, even if they can't always join you in the kitchen. This week we looked at how God took Elijah up to heaven an how Elisha became God's messenger. Elisha wouldn't be alone, though, and when he picked up Elisha's cloak, he knew this - God is always with me.

We can follow Jesus.

About this week:
When we put a puzzle together, starting at the corners and slowly following the edges as a guide is a good idea. This week, we learned about how Saul became a follower of Jesus after his unique experience on the way to Damascus. Saul shows us that we can follow Jesus even when we don't see the big picture.
