✨The community you were created for is waiting for you✨

Godly community is not optional for the Christian - God is setting a standard that humanity is called to live in oneness together. We are called to live in community.

Here are some standards to set as you evaluate and look for true, authentic, healthy friends.

- Find relationships that are going to sharpen you (Prov. 27:17), not cut you up.

- Find relationships that will stand through adversity. Godly friends love at all times. (Prov. 17:17)

- Find people who will show up and participate. Godly friends are active, not passive; they cooperate, encourage, and help. (Prov. 18:24)

- Find someone who is not envious of what God is doing in your life. Rejoice for one another

- Forgive quickly- friends will hurt each other, usually unintentionally; godly friends resolve tension and don’t let it linger.

- Find someone who will speak and seek truth. Godly friends speak truth in love and desire truth in the relationship. Healthy relationships have accountability.

Wednesdays At The Cove popped off this round!

We want to provide practical life skills to our community and this is one way we can do that. This round of WATC we talked all about mental health and financial literacy 🔥 we got to look at what the word of God says about our mental health and finances and it did not disappoint!

This night is designed specifically for our middle and high school students. We play games, have concessions, worship together, open the Word, and spend intentional time in groups. It’s gonna be fun, meaningful, and centered on Jesus.

Students, invite a friend!

Our heart is not just to entertain students, but to equip and disciple the next generation. Let’s continue building disciples and followers of Jesus who know Him, love Him, and live boldly for Him in their schools and communities.

We prioritize Gods presence over our preferences. 🔥

Sometimes that means Bible study turns into a worship session instead of the planned material - and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Without Him, everything we do means nothing.

God is so good to meet us where we are in the middle of the week, in the middle of the mess, and allow us to rest in His presence. To recharge from time with Him and to grow with others around us.

Here’s your reminder this week, if things aren’t going as planned, slow down and sit with the Lord. Allow him to speak into your circumstances and give you the rest, peace, strength, boldness, etc that you need.

Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies are not only for going deeper in the word together but also about building community and surrounding yourself with people who love you and will point you back to Jesus!

Hebrews 10:24-25 “let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together..”

There’s growth, love, encouragement, and healing in community! If groups “aren’t your thing” we encourage you to give it one more shot! We’ve got one last week of Bible studies before a break and then Wednesday at The Cove start up in a few weeks so you have lots of opportunities!
