I remember attending an online banned book event, and Dolly Parton's sister was one of the guest speakers. It resonated with me how important the Imagination Library is, and when I visited Dollywood on my way back to college two years ago, it became even more important to me.
My mom saw this on FB from one of my Bay Head School classmates' moms, Kristy Vizzone. It is a great idea, and hope you will join me in taking part in this to help a child develop a love of reading. I will be suggesting it at the next Trevor Banned Book Club meeting on September 30th. Two great books that were suggested were "Frog and Toad Together" by Arnold Lobel and "Dog-man" by Dav Pilkey. My favorite growing up was "Harold and the Purple Crayon" by Crockett Johnson.
