BIBLE VERSE REFLECTION

"And whenever evening came, they would leave the city."
(Mark 11:19)

Every evening, Jesus and His disciples would leave the city to pray. We, too, need to regularly leave our “city”—our cares, sorrows, anger, joys, and worldly achievements—to pray to God. The Holy Spirit Himself will then lift our burdens, cleanse our hearts, and remind us of the things that really matter.
