Urgent need for volunteers to make this meal packing event a success. Ages 12+ invited to serve. Free t-shirt and lunch. 7:30am-1pm.

Volunteers are still needed for the 9/11 Day meal packing in St. Paul. This is going to be such a fun event with music, visits from former Vikings and the Wild. Volunteers will not be packing food, but will be supporting in other roles. Ages 12+ are welcome.

Ages 12-18 need a signed waiver, and ages 12-15 need an adult to accompany.

Blood is a perishable product and is not something that can be manufactured, it must come from human donors. Blood products are used by cancer patients, trauma victims, burn patients, sickle cell disease and chronic illness patients. Our next blood drive is August 19, 2026 at our Lakeville chapel at 18460 Kachina Ct. Come support an amazing cause!

Thank you to all those who came to the The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square Hollywood Bowl watch party in June. It really was a party--great music, games, bounce houses and food. So many of you stopped at the JustServe MN tent and helped make beaded fidgets. The chairs were filled the whole night with two extra tables brought in to accommodate all the volunteers. A total of 206 fidgets were made and donated to Southern Valley Alliance, a nonprofit that supports those affected by domestic violence in Scott County. These fidgets are offered to their clients who come in person to utilize their services. Pauline, office manager at Southern Valley alliance, received the fidgets on July 9th and said, "Many of the individuals we serve have experienced significant trauma, and even small comforts can make a meaningful difference. Fidgets provide a simple, nonverbal way to help reduce anxiety, ease stress, and create a greater sense of safety during difficult conversations." A 30-bead fidget may seem like a small item, but it can "help clients stay grounded and engaged as they work through challenging situations. We are grateful for support that allows us to offer these resources and create a more welcoming, trauma-informed environment for everyone who walks through our doors," said Pauline.
