Week 2: The 10 Commandments

The Ten commandments are not simply Divine laws for individual behavior - they are not a litmus test for one's purity or righteousness. Rather, they are guides for living in right relations with God and neighbor. Moses and the Isrealites understood that these commandments were intended to foster the functioning and flourishing of the whole community.

We have another "Love Thy Neighbor" opportunity. Morgan could use some assistance helping to pack up, sort through items, etc. He is moving soon and is limited physically himself. That's where we can come alongside and help a "neighbor" out!
It is time sensitive... Even if you can stop by for an hour or so- anything would be helpful.

Morgan is in need of extra hands to help him pack up for an upcoming move. He has limited mobility and could use the support of our community. Things needing to be done: pack up items, help him create "sell, donate, throw piles", help him take pictures of items to be posted on Marketplace, and more....

Reminder: EPIC Nights begin this Wednesday.

EPIC stands for "Encouraging People in Christ" and is open to all youth in grades 6-12. Join for fun, fellowship, and faith formation from 6:30-8:00 pm. Open to all youth, you do not have to be a member to join us for these evenings! And feel free to bring a friend. The first is 6/10 and will continue Wednesday evenings throughout the summer.
