What does it look like to protect your heart from negativity while living in the midst of warfare? Pastor Alexander and his daughter Ana Maria share their powerful story of leading four congregations in Ukraine during ongoing conflict.
Instead of falling into hate and fear, they've chosen to practice love—welcoming six refugee families from the Kherson region and helping them discover what it means to be part of a true spiritual family. These families, many who knew little of genuine faith, are now active followers of Jesus, serving alongside the church to help others.
Their message is clear: even in the hardest times when we wonder where God is, He is actually closest. "God is good and even during war there is life. He does not leave people in the most difficult moments." Their story reminds us that hardship can become fertilizer for wisdom when we keep our eyes fixed on Christ's love.
