THIS SATURDAY (Oct.25) Sioux Falls Christian School will be in Rosebud for the first of 4 Kids Connection days!🎉 Vans will be picking up kids around 1ish as always.

With all of our campers and youth helpers (3 of which were kids that graduated out of the program💗) we ministered to 124 youth!
On Tuesday evening our youth teams gathered at the Pure Water Lodge for a night of fun. We had a potluck style supper then played a game of singing different advertisement jingles. It was kids vs adults and we learned that ad jingles have changed a lot through the years! The kids jingles they knew were short and catchy while the adults remembered the older jingles that were more like a song. We had a jingle off to create a jingle for PLYC where the kids won because they created their own "song". See the comments for the adults ad and an ad jingle from both groups.

Friday at What A Mess we learned how other people are messy too and that we need to forgive them like Jesus forgives us. Bear with each other and forgive one another as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13

Thursday at What A Mess we had 85 campers. We learned from the story of the Prodigal Son, that God‘s grace covers our mess. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, the we should be called children of God. 1 John 3:1a

Wednesday at What A Mess we learned how God doesn't want to hear about how great and wonderful you are like the Pharisee, but rather to be humble and honest in our prayers like the tax collector. (Confess your mess) Our attendance was 86.

Tuesday at What A Mess we learned about the rich ruler wanting to get eternal life in his own and how that didn't work very well for him. Our attendance was 87.

Monday at What A Mess we learned what a mess Adam and Eve made of the wonderfully perfect life they had in the Garden of Eden. Our attendance was 74.

Coming July 14-18!! Sometimes life can get....a little MESSY! The good news is, Jesus loves messy people! No matter our age we all have our own messes. We're going to learn about how Jesus deals with our messes; our sins, mistakes, and weaknesses, all the while having lots of messy fun. Come join us in the mess! We will be out getting registrations July 11th & 12th, watch for our vehicle with our logo magnet on it.
