Graduation Celebration at Freedom Ministries Lighthouse!

Please join us on Saturday, October 24th, at 4:00 PM as we come together to celebrate what God has done in the life of Michael!

We are incredibly proud of Michael, the growth we have witnessed, and the commitment he has made to his recovery and his walk with Christ. Graduation is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of a new chapter filled with hope, purpose, and continued faith in God.

We invite our families, friends, churches, and community to come out and celebrate this special milestone with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean so much to the men at the Lighthouse.

We will enjoy a meal and fellowship together following the graduation celebration. We ask that everyone who is able please bring a side dish and/or dessert to share.

What an incredible evening we had last night at Penfield Addiction Ministries.

For our Director, Dan Crane, going back to Penfield is more than just a visit. Sixteen years ago, that is where Dan began his journey. It was there that incredible men and leaders poured into his life, walked alongside him, and most importantly, showed him that Jesus was the way.

Last night was a full-circle moment.

It was powerful to watch the Director of Penfield present Dan with a very special 16-year chip. Sixteen years of one day at a time. Sixteen years of God’s grace, faithfulness, restoration, and purpose.

And now Dan gets to pour into other men the same way others once poured into him.

We were blessed to take some of our men from Freedom Ministries Lighthouse with us. Moments like this matter because they get to see firsthand that recovery is possible, that lives really can change, and that God can take the very place where your journey began and use your story to help someone else begin theirs.

Of course, we had to enjoy some fellowship and plenty of food at Cici’s Pizza along the way. We are thankful for opportunities to get the men out, spend time together, laugh, fellowship, and make some good memories.

Dan, congratulations on 16 years. We love you, appreciate your leadership, and are thankful that you continue to answer the call God has placed on your life.

We are so thankful that God called you to the Lighthouse and that you answered that call. The way you pour into these men and this ministry means more than you know.

Come celebrate 10 Years of Freedom Ministries Lighthouse with us tonight! We’ll get started at 4:00 PM.

Come join us for food, testimonies, worship, fellowship, and a celebration of all that God has done over these past 10 years.

10 years. Countless lives changed. One faithful God.

God did it—and He’s not finished yet!

Late Summer Camping at the Lighthouse

What an incredible weekend of fellowship for the men of Freedom Ministries Lighthouse! We were blessed to bring together current residents and alumni for our late-summer camping trip at beautiful Tugalo State Park.

We are incredibly blessed to call Rabun County and the mountains of Northeast Georgia home. Sometimes all you have to do is look around at the mountains, the water, and the beauty of God’s creation and be reminded of just how good He is.

There was fishing, boating, great food, plenty of laughter, prayer, worship, and most importantly, fellowship.

But weekends like this are about more than just getting away and having fun. They are a reminder of what God can restore.

Recovery isn't only about what we leave behind. It's also about discovering what God gives back: friendship, brotherhood, laughter, peace, purpose, memories, and the ability to enjoy life again with a clear mind and a grateful heart.

Some of the men on this trip are still walking through the program. Others are alumni who have already completed it and continue to show that a different life is possible. Different stories, different journeys, but the same gracious God.

This is what we mean when we talk about Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness. We get to walk alongside one another, encourage one another, pray together, laugh together, worship together, and experience the new life that Christ makes possible.

We are grateful for every person who supports Freedom Ministries Lighthouse and helps make opportunities like this possible for our men.

God is still restoring lives. God is still rebuilding families. God is still giving second chances. And sometimes His grace looks like a group of brothers sitting around a campsite, laughing together and realizing just how far God has brought them.

“He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” — Psalm 23:3

NO SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICE THIS WEEK

The Lighthouse will not have service this Saturday, August 29th.

We’ll resume our regular Saturday Night Service next Saturday, September 5th at 6pm.

CONGRATULATIONS, MICHAEL & CHRIS!

What an incredible evening celebrating Michael and Chris and the huge accomplishment of completing the Freedom Ministries Lighthouse program!

We are so proud of these two men—not simply because they reached graduation, but because of the work, growth, perseverance, accountability, and faith it took to get here. Graduation isn't the end of the journey. It's another step forward into the life God has called them to live.

To every church, ministry, business, volunteer, family member, employer, and friend who has prayed, given, encouraged, fed, taught, loved, and supported these men and this ministry—THANK YOU!

We truly could not do what we do without this incredible community that continues to stand beside the Lighthouse and the men who walk through our doors.

But first and foremost, all glory belongs to Jesus Christ.

He is the reason we are here. He is the One who restores what addiction has broken, gives hope when things seem hopeless, and reminds us that a person's past does not have to determine their future.

The Lighthouse was built on three simple words that continue to guide everything we do:

LOVE
ACCEPTANCE
FORGIVENESS

GRADUATION CELEBRATION AT THE LIGHTHOUSE!

Next Saturday August 22nd at 4:00 PM, we invite you to come celebrate an incredible milestone with us at Freedom Ministries Lighthouse!

These men have worked hard, grown through challenges, and stayed the course. Now it's time to celebrate as they complete our 12-month program and graduate!

We would love for our friends, families, supporters, and community to come out and celebrate what God has done in their lives.

Graduation begins at 4:00 PM

Dinner and fellowship will follow.

We are asking everyone who comes to please bring a side dish to share. The Lighthouse will provide the entrée.

Come hungry, come ready to celebrate, and most importantly, come help us show these men how proud we are of this tremendous accomplishment!
