We Remember | 25 Years 🕊

Twenty-five years ago, the events of September 11, 2001, brought our nation to a pause. In the midst of unimaginable loss, many people held their loved ones a little closer. Even churches experienced an increase in attendance for 3 to 4 weeks before the busyness and noise of our everyday lives reappeared. It was a time where people were reminded of what matters most.

Today, as we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and all those who responded with courage and compassion, we invite you to pause.

In this moment, what are you grateful for?

May this day of remembrance also call us to cherish the people in our lives, to choose compassion, and to never take for granted the gift of today.

Neighborhood Ministries’ annual BBQ Pork Butt Fundraiser is back—and you’ll want to get your order in!

Preorders open this Sunday, September 13, and will continue through October 4. Then, pick up your fully cooked pork butts on Sunday, October 11, at the Gym during Children’s Sunday.

🍖 $15 per pound
🔥 $50 for a whole 5 lb. pork butt

And yes—the legendary Bill Moore will be behind the grill, working his BBQ magic!

Even better, every order supports the incredible work of Neighborhood Ministries and the children and families they serve.

Pumpkin patch season is coming! 🎃🍁 Join us for either of our training sessions to work in the pumpkin patch this fall by registering online. 💻😄

Training will be held Wednesday, September 16th from 5:30-6:30PM, and Sunday, September 20th from 7-7:45PM. You will need to attend training to sign up for shifts at the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkins will arrive October 1st! 👻🍂
