The Florida Conference is seeking friendly volunteers to serve as Greeters and Ushers during the 2026 Annual Conference in Lakeland.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Annual Conference firsthand, extend hospitality, and enjoy fellowship with United Methodists from across Florida. Flexible serving times are available, and both individuals and groups are welcome.

The Conference Board of Laity voted to recommend Deaconess Dr. Judith Pierre-Okerson as the nominee for the next co-Lay Leader in the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church.

A formal vote on the co-Lay Leader will be held at Annual Conference.
