This is such a significant loss for the Church and for Pastor Mutowa’s family — will you join us in prayer in this time of grief?

We are saddened to share that our brother, friend, and colleague, Rev. Cosmas Mutowa, FSC, of the Africa South Central Field, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of this morning.

Please keep his wife, Andronica, his children, the entire family, loved ones, and all those impacted by his life and ministry in your prayers during this time of grief.

We hold firmly to the promise of God’s Word:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18

May the comfort of Christ sustain all who mourn his passing 🕊

Let us continue to be united through prayer as the Church of the Nazarene in Mexico. In the midst of uncertainty, we remember that Jesus is the hope and the light of the world (John 8:12). As God's people, we are called to be bearers of that light and to bring hope to those who need it. 🙌

Let us pray 🙏 for our nation 🇲🇽, for the affected families, and for peace. We urge you not to share fake news, but to pay attention to official announcements and follow the recommendations.

Let us not be overcome by fear! Instead, let us give hope. Let us share the love of Jesus, offer a listening ear and a helping hand. Together, we can be the light in the darkness!

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" - Psalm 27:1

- Salmo 27:1

Congregations and Districts throughout the USA, including the Florida District are offering the proverbial cup of cold water in Jesus’ name for neighbors in need.

Let us pray for these communities and for those who are finding hope through these ministries.

Great news! Our office has been officially approved by the Department of Justice to begin offering immigration legal services. We will start taking appointments in the first week of March! Look for a scheduling link in the coming weeks.

We are so excited to begin serving the community of Brockton!
