SUBMISSION
TO THE WILL OF GOD

Allah. Allah is His name; and He is the All-mighty God, the Creator of the Universe. There is none equal to Him. None is worthy of worship except Him alone. Islam is submission to the Will of Allah. ore you, that you may guard yourselves against evil. Who made the earth a floor for you, and the sky as a roof, and caused water to come down from the clouds to bring forth fruits for your sustenance, so do not set up equals to Allah, while you know it. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:21-22]



EXISTENCE OF GOD


How can you deny Allah? Did He not give you life, when you were without life? And then He will cause you to die, and then restore you to life, and then to Him you shall be made to return. It is He Who created for you all that the earth contains, then He proceeded towards the sky, and He perfected them into seven heavens, and He has complete knowledge of all things. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:28-29]

Blessed be He in Whose hand is the sovereignty, and He has power over all things. Who has created life and death, that He may test you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 67:1-2]




ISLAM : The Religion of Ibrahim

And who will turn away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), except he who befools himself. Verily, We chose and purified him in this world, and in the hereafter he will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him: “Submit”; he replied: “I submit to the Lord of the Worlds.” And Ibrahim left this very legacy to his sons. And so did Yaquob (Jacob), saying: “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen this religion for you; so let not death overtake you except in the state of complete submission (to Allah’s will).” [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:130-132]
Were you present when death approached Yaquob (Jacob), when he said to his sons: “What will you worship after me?” They replied: “We will worship your God, the God of your forefathers - Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismael (Ishmael) and Is’haque (Isaac) - the One (and Only) God, and to Him do we submit ourselves.” Those were a people who have passed away, they shall have a reward for what they did, and you will have for what you do, and you will not be questioned about their actions. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:133-134]
