Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
I am very concerned for our nation and the moral decline we have been witnessing. Also, the Amendments coming up in the current election in our state are very concerning.
I wish to invite you to join with our church in a time of prayer and intercession to our Lord on
Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 am to noon.
Considering the turning away from God by many in America to follow after other gods or philosophies and the immoral decline, I believe that the Lord has passed judgement upon us and why we are experiencing an economic downturn and a resurgence of the Covid plague.
To that end I am calling for others to join in a call to prayer and intercession for our country.
The focus of our prayer will be from 2 Chronicles 7
13 “When I (the Lord) shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
