Yesterday, we wrapped up our Exile and Return study with our Class and Leader Sharing Day, a beautiful ending to an unforgettable year.
Our time together overflowed with testimony after testimony of God’s goodness. For nearly two hours between Leaders sharing and member sharing there was hardly a pause as women and students shared the many ways God has moved, sustained, rebuilt, strengthened, and restored. Hearts were so full of gratitude that no one wanted the celebration to end. Even afterward, many said they could have kept going. Truly, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done.”
This year, we walked the road from exile to restoration, watching God rebuild what was broken, strengthen what was weak, and call wandering hearts back to Himself. Through every lesson, every challenge, and every moment of grace, one truth remained steadfast:
God is faithful to restore.
God has been building His temple in us. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and He has strengthened us with courage, vision, perseverance, grace, integrity, hope, and faith.
This year also brought tremendous change as we moved to a new host church and transitioned to the one-day BSF model. Yet through every adjustment, challenge, and unknown, we witnessed the unwavering faithfulness of God. We can honestly say we have loved both changes and have seen His hand so clearly through it all.
The joy of the Lord truly remained our strength.
Again and again, God reminded us that His work is never accomplished by human power or ability alone:
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty.
What a gift it is to serve in callings that require complete dependence upon Him. He has proven Himself faithful every single time, and He is worthy of our trust, our surrender, and our praise.
We pray the Word of God will continue to dwell richly within us. His Word is timeless and true, enduring forever. May what God built in us this year continue to bear fruit for generations to come.
And now, as we move forward together, may we echo the words of Paul:
“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
