Harvesting Hope is a Christian faith based ministry that addresses the needs of incarcerated Women. We are a mentoring program for women who are incarcerated and for those who are re-entering society after being incarcerated. Our mission is to be a catalyst of hope for women who have struggled with many addictions and incarceration throughout their lives. We provide ministry services to women insi

de and outside the walls of the jail to help them become productive citizens within the community. Harvesting Hope was born within Harvest Assembly of God by myself and my aunt. We have a passion to help women who have struggled, develop their spiritual lives. Our Goal is to be Jesus to them behind the bars and behind the razor wire as well as outside the confinement of the jail and their past.
“When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:39-40

Today Jessica Holmes and I visited the Polk County Jail. 13 inmates in attendance and 2 salvations. All of Heaven is rejoicing!

Harvesting Hope, myself and Jessica Holmes, visited the Polk County Jail today and delivered a powerful message to 17 inmates. Today's message focused on recharging our spiritual batteries by utilizing God's word as the power source for life. Following the message, an opportunity for salvation was extended, and 14 inmates accepted the invitation to give their lives to Jesus. The experience was profoundly impactful, not only for the inmates but also for me as I prepared to deliver the message. Can you join us, in praying for those who accepted Jesus today to remain committed to His word and continue walking in His way?

Looking forward to getting back to the jail this month to minister to some inmates in need. I’ve been unable to attend since March due to the tragic and unexpected passing of my husband in April and then the busyness of life in May and June. Please pray that Jessica and I can touch the inmates and bring salt and light to a dark and tasteless world.

We went to the Polk County Jail today to minister to the broken and lost. After a powerful message of recharging your spiritual life with the word of God, out of 18 inmates 11 raised their hand for salvation. God is a God of his word and his will is that none will perish, but all come to repentance. Even if it was for only one inmate, it was worth it because God left the 99 to go after the 1. Help us to pray for the 11 inmates who gave their heart to Christ so that they may continue to grow in Him.

Harvesting Hope went to Polk County Jail yesterday and ministered to 17 inmates. After a powerful message of choosing joy in chaos, 7 people raised their hand for salvation. God is a good God.

“I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭36‬, ‭39‬-‭40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Today Jessica and Myself went to the Polk County Jail and ministered to a dorm of 16 inmates. The message today was about allowing God to make you new. We all carry baggage, but what we do with that baggage depends on us. If you allow God to handle your baggage, your trip will be a lot smoother. Don’t let your past define you, instead let it shape you into the person God has intended you to be. With that being said 14 inmates raised their hand for salvation. Thank you Jesus for the opportunity to do this ministry. We are blessed to be able to pour into the broken and lost.

“When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭39‬-‭40‬

Harvesting Hope went to the Polk county Jail and ministered to 17 inmates and 7 gave their life to Jesus and 3 were baptized in the Holy Spirit. That’s 7 souls who said “YES” and 7 more that have chosen to surrender to Jesus. Thank you for this opportunity Lord to speak to the broken.
