He always holds my hand.
It might be an unnoticed gesture to some, but never to me. For 13 years, he has been holding my hand.
For some, it might seem controlling. For others, old-fashioned. And for some, it may simply be a small gesture. But never for him.
For him, holding my hand is a sense of protection, a channel of love, and a way of expressing without words:
“I’m here. No matter how tough it gets, I’m not letting you go.”
We started later in life, but we learned that with God, it is never too late.
Regardless of our past failures, difficulties, disappointments, and the rough seasons we have faced, we gave ourselves the opportunity to keep choosing one another and to show others that with God, it is possible.
How long his hand will be there for me, I don’t know.
How long my hand will have the privilege of resting in his, I don’t know.
But one thing I do know:
I will cherish his hand every moment God gives me. Through every season, every challenge, every victory, and every ordinary day, I will treasure the hand that has held mine for 13 years.
And I pray that we will continue walking hand in hand, with God leading us, until He comes. ❤️
He doesn’t know I really need his hand.
