Join us this Thursday at 9 AM for a special time for non-school age children and their caregivers to connect in our Children's Ministry (come in the Welcome Center and up the ramp). It's almost Sunday, and we can't wait to see you tomorrow! Our 3- and 4-year-olds will continue talking about Creation, and our K-5th Graders are starting a new series called "We Are Family" where we will be learning all about Abraham & his family. Everyone at church is also encouraged to wear their favorite sports team's colors tomorrow as Pastor Marcus continues his "not a fan" series in worship!

On Sunday, Sept. 6 — Labor Day Weekend, come to worship representing your favorite team!

And when we say team, we mean any team. 🙌
Your favorite sport, country, school, university, hometown team, professional team… whatever you cheer for! And it doesn’t have to be a jersey. Wear a team T-shirt, polo, tie, scarf, hat, pin, colors, or whatever you have that shows a little team spirit. 😎

We’ll have some fun with it as we continue our Not a Fan sermon series with Rev. Marcus Zillman. Get ready for a great Sunday of worship!

Join us for our NEW series for K-5th Grade happening on Sunday mornings in September! Kids will explore how Abraham’s family navigated challenges and blessings while learning how we can care for our families, serve them well, and remember that we’re all part of God’s family. As they do, kids will learn that we can believe God’s promises, we can pray for our families, we can trust God to provide, and we’re all welcome in God’s family. We can't wait to see you on Sunday!

The first kidsPack event is set for Wednesday, September 2, at 4:00 PM in the Welcome Center. Megan and Kristin will be present, and we look forward to seeing many families come together to contribute to this wonderful mission opportunity. Then join us in the Fellowship Center for the Midweek Meal ($10 adults and $5 kids 12 and under).

Starting September 16th children 6 weeks - 5th grade join us Wednesday Nights as we dive into the Bible in age appropriate ways. Head to firstumc.org/children to register once for the entire year. **Note children do not need to stay the entire length of programming.

We had so much fun at our Luau on Sunday that we can't wait for the next KIC Family Fun Event! Join us on September 27th @ 2:30-4:30 PM for some fall fun at our Boots and Bales Bash!
