"Ranger Grill opens"
We are re-opening the Ranger Grill! This provides a friendly (and affordable) gathering to hungry families before Wednesday night services (burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken breast sandwich, sodas, etc). And it's a major fundraiser to help our Royal Ranger program. Come eat and support Rangers each Wednesday starting Sept 2, at 5:30pm.

September 19, 2026 (Saturday)
"Rainbow River Tubing"
We ride the bus north to the Rainbow River, then float and enjoy what the river has to offer for a day of snorkeling, bonding, relaxation, swimming, and fun! All Rangers and Commanders who attend must be chartered and registered by September 9th.

September 23, 2026 (Wednesday)
"Off Leash Ministries" event
Dads! We want you to join your Ranger, as this event is aimed at Rangers, Dads, and Commanders. We're partnering with Men's Ministry to bring a guest speaker in to share some interesting lessons on obedience to God, through a really cool K9 presentation. Please arrive directly for check-in at the Light of Lights chapel foyer and prepare for an awesome night!

September 30, 2026 (Wednesday)
"Ranger Achievement Rally"
We will celebrate the accomplishments of all our Rangers with an award presentation for all the hard work they’ve done to earn merits, Spirit Challenges, and awards! All parents are encouraged to attend and support our Rangers in the Light of Lights Chapel.

November 6-8, 2026
"Round-Up"
This three-day annual camp takes place at Camp Wilderness in Fort Meade, FL. We're planning for the whole outpost to attend this Viking themed camp which includes activities such as dodgeball tournament, Gagaball, and a Skill-A-Rama including Bible knowledge, Royal Ranger knowledge, Fire craft, and more!

Remember, in order for your Ranger to attend ANY off-campus or non-Wednesday night event, such as our adventurous tubing, canoeing, cycling, Pow Wow, snorkeling, hiking, camping, district, national, weekend, or overnight events, he will need to be chartered. It's an annual fee once per year, completed and notarized in the OP169 Lodge. We look forward to seeing you at these Royal Ranger events. Flyers and a Registration QR Codes can be found in the Ranger Lodge. If you have any questions, you may ask your Outpost Commander, or send us a Message!

As many of you know, Commander Wayne Elliott injured his leg during Camporama, and he’s going through a difficult healing season and could use some extra love and support. We’d love to surround him and his family with prayers and encouragement.

We’ve set up a Meal Train to help provide meals while he focuses on healing.

If you feel led to help, we would be so grateful. Thank you for continuing to lift Commander Wayne up in prayer.

My dad, Wayne Elliott, has faithfully volunteered with Royal Rangers for the past 33 years, pouring into the lives of countless boys, leaders, and families. He has always been someone willing to serve others without expecting anything in return. While attending Camporama in Missouri, Dad suffered a....

Day 11 of Camporama 2026 wrapped up our road trip camping adventure! For the last time, we loaded the bus and embarked on our long restful ride home. We got to enjoy online church service, compete in a Nintendo Smash Bros tournament (Congrats Nathan and Samuel), and catch up on some much needed sleep after the long and physically demanding expedition. We won’t be uploading all the open-mouth snoring pics. We counted our hat pins for the trading competition (Congrats Nathan, Connor, and Asher along with Commanders Grant, Chris, and Landon). And we were able to watch the Final game of the FIFA World Cup (Congrats Spain). We reflected on the amazing time we had during this journey, and made plans for Camporama 2030! After unloading the bus, we gathered for a prayer of thankfulness for God’s blessings over this trip, and eagerly joined our families. Thanks to all who had a part in this adventure!

Day 10 of Camporama 2026 continued our rapid-paced journey of floating from one exciting moment to the next! We started with breakfast at the hotel and a morning devotion before arriving at an adventure park. We challenged ourselves with a high-ropes course and zip lining. A lunchtime cooldown lead into bicycling around the park, frisbee, and soccer free time. Then we plunged into the main event: whitewater rafting and tubing over (and frequently under) the rapids! A celebratory dinner prepped us for a wonderful spirit-filled evening devotion back at the hotel. What a wave of memories made today!

Day 9 of Camporama 2026 was a big travel day after striking camp. We departed Royal Rangers’ national campground, heading south out of Eagle Rock, MO. We rolled thru Arkansas, over the Mississippi River, touched Tennessee, and landed in Montgomery Alabama for tomorrow’s adventure! On the way, the Rangers learned background knowledge for their Whitewater Rafting Merit, we shared devotions, watched “Raising the Bar”, and ended the night with a fun Mexican dinner.

Day 8 of Camporama 2026 was filled with play. The Rangers had a blast taking part in all the adventurous activities around camp. We had morning devotions and dedicated a new building, Fire Eagle. We created a whirlpool in the Camporama pool and challenged eachother in field and inflatable obstacles. We shot shotguns, 22’s, archery, and slingshots. We threw cabers, tomahawks, and knives. We kissed goats for some reason. And we traded pins; boy did we trade pins! This iconic activity was a big part of the entire week, as Rangers (as well as the young-at-heart Dads and Commanders) got involved in gathering the most impressive collection of pins for our Camporama hats. The Rangers can’t wait to tell anyone who’ll listen about the value they found in these souvenir displays from Royal Rangers all over the world. We ended the night with our final evening service and mountaintop fireworks!

Day 7 of Camporama 2026 caught us at the granddaddy of all outdoor stores, Bass Pro Shops. After morning devotions, we visited the national headquarters for the retailer, took advantage of their A/C and snacks for the day, and a few Rangers got new pocketknives and souvenirs after taking in the cool decor. We ate a nice lunch together at Hemmingway’s Cafe and toured a few museums in the headquarters: NRA Arms Museum, Bass Pro history, and Motorsport museum. It was a fun getaway for all of us before returning back to camp for evening service and bed.

Day 6 of Camporama 2026 was a milestone for us! We passed the half-way point of our trip! Many OP169 Rangers, Commanders, and Dads started the day off with the Camporama 5K (Congrats Jackson H) before our morning devotions! Then we joined in the camp fun with blacksmithing merit, shooting activities, pin trading, and hanging out with friends. Evening service was abruptly ended when a rainstorm rolled in and caused a mass exodus of campers, leaving the wet camp holed up in tents for evening devotions before bed.

Day 5 of Camporama 2026…we arrived! After hotel breakfast and morning devotion, we arrived at Camp Eagle Rock. We checked in, set up our OP169 campsite, and joined Royal Rangers from around the country in a worship service and message on our theme, “Be the Man”. Today was a great welcome to Camporama.
