HE IS RISEN! Today was a wonderful culmination to our Passion Week together! Sunrise Scriptures and Songs, Easter Breakfast, Egg Hunts for the Kids, and services packed to overflowing … praising our Risen Lord, hearing His good Word, and best of all CELEBRATING STILL MORE BAPTISMS - Wow what a week, what an Easter, what a God we serve!

Good Friday of our Passion Week was so special this year! Our youth ministry shared songs and scriptures and testimonies, joined in all the Arts & Film, and reflected on God’s Word with us, from the Friday of Passion Week and from Christ’s Words on the Cross! But the highlight of the evening was Bryce ditching his old life for new life in Christ, and Karl bravely ditching his wheelchair to climb the stairs with his brothers and be baptized in Jesus’ name! Plus we gave all the week’s pilgrims there the rest of the crosses for our Cord-of-7-Crosses to wear for Easter Sunday!

And speaking of Easter Sunday, it’s going to be an AMAZING CELEBRATION of Christ, His Cross, His Resurrection, and the Rich Rewards of belonging to Him! 7am Sunrise Service Outside! 8am Breakfast Inside! 9am Classes (and EGG HUNTS for the LegacyKids classes), and 10:30am Big Easter Worship (including BAPTISMS from Legacy AND Ebenezer!) before Ebenezer’s Spanish speaking classes at 12:30pm and Easter service at 1:30pm! Make a day of any of it or ALL of it!

Maundy Thursday of our Passion Week was extra special this year sharing it with our partners in the building, neighborhood and Kingdom: Iglesia Bautista Ebenezer! Shared songs and scriptures, in Spanish & English, celebrating New Life in Christ, joining in all the Arts & Film, and reflecting on God’s Word, from the Thursday of Passion Week and from Christ’s Words on the Cross! And extra extra special was meeting Emmanuel, a man from IBE who talked with Pastor Mendoza about his desire and decision to be baptized by him during our 10:30 service on Easter Sunday!! Wow, Praise the Lord, we’re going to have Easter baptisms from BOTH churches!!!

And speaking of baptisms, we have some special ones happening TONIGHT that you don’t wanna miss! Also remember to bring the cords and crosses back with you tonight for the GOOD FRIDAY evening of PASSION WEEK 7pm when Legacy’s Youth Ministries will bring the Praise and scripture and testimonials! Plus More powerful arts and film! Another saying from the cross! And another cross to add!

Actually two crosses… even though I won’t be preaching on the 7th saying of the cross until Easter Sunday, I’ll plan on having the last cross of the 7 crosses available to pick up tonight, plus extra crosses and burners in case we run out of any letters, plus people on hand who can help you tie it into a wristband, so that we can make sure that everyone who’s been here this week can go into their Easter Sunday with their whole 7-CROSS-CORD on their wrist! And yes, by tonight or Easter Sunday, a whole sheet detailing the sayings, the cross letters and their meanings will be available to remember all the rewards of belonging to Christ! What a great week - don’t you dare miss tonight!!!
