O Eternal God, bless all schools, colleges, and universities, that they may be lively centers for sound learning, new discovery, and the pursuit of wisdom;
and grant that those who teach and those who learn may find you to be the source of all truth; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Storms come for everyone — but daring to step out in faith changes the story. In “Boldness in the Storm,” Rev Robert Moses reflects on Peter’s walk with Jesus and how answering the call to “Come” brings us an outstretched hand and hope.

So we stand with Peter, and with Jesus, knowing that storms will come, and sometimes they will overwhelm us. But when we dare to step out—when we answer Jesus’ summons to “Come”—we find him waiting with an outstretched hand, ready to raise us up and lead us toward the shore.

✏️📚🖍️
Christ the King’s annual Back‑to‑School Drive 2026 will support children and teens across Lakeland and Polk County by partnering with the Polk County Public Schools HEARTH Project.

🏠HEARTH Project (Homeless Education Advocates Restoring The Hope) is a project of Polk County Public Schools dedicated to assisting homeless and in-transition families and children by eliminating barriers to school enrollment, attendance, stability, and overall academic success. They work to ensure that children experiencing homelessness have the same opportunities for educational success as housed students in Polk County.
