Today we celebrate our risen Savior, Jesus Christ!

He took on our sin and the punishment we could not bear so that we may have eternal life. The resurrection of Christ means death is defeated!

Where does your hope come from?
He has risen!

Rejoice in the living God who loves you so much that He was willing to die for you.

Have you given your life to Him?

Saturday must have felt unbearably heavy for the disciples.

They had just watched their Teacher, their Rabbi, their Messiah be crucified. Everything they believed in seemed buried with Him. I imagine fear creeping in… confusion taking over… doubt whispering louder. Saturday was silent. Dark. Bleak.

Maybe you know that feeling.

Maybe you’re living in a “Saturday” season right now—where prayers feel unanswered, where hope feels distant, where the weight of life presses in.

But here’s the truth we hold onto:
Saturday was not the end of the story.
Jesus did not stay in the tomb.
Sunday was coming.

And with it came life, restoration, and hope that could never be buried.

If you’re in a dark place today, don’t lose heart.

You don’t have to stay in Saturday.

Because we know how the story ends.
Hope is alive.
Sunday is coming!

Martha had the right theology.

She believed in a future resurrection. Someday, somewhere, on the last day — yes, she knew that.

But Jesus didn't let her stay there.

He said: I am the resurrection and the life.

Not "I can arrange it." Not "it's coming eventually." I am it.

He moved her from a doctrine she agreed with to a person she had to trust. That's a different thing entirely.

Do you believe this? That's the question He asked her. Not — do you understand it fully? Not — do you have it all figured out?

Do you believe this?

Knowing about Jesus and trusting Jesus are not the same thing. Which one describes where you are right now?

He stayed two days longer.

Not because He didn't care. Because He had a plan they couldn't see yet.

Mary and Martha sent word. Jesus heard it. And He waited. When He finally arrived, Lazarus had been in the tomb four days. The mourners were there. The stone was sealed. It was over.

And Jesus wept anyway.

He knew what He was about to do. And He still wept with them.

That tells us something real about who He is. Your grief doesn't make Him impatient. Your pain moves Him. He's not waiting for you to hold it together before He shows up.

"Jesus wept." – John 11:35

The shortest verse in the Bible. And one of the most important.

Come be with us this Palm Sunday at Neighborhood Church Lakeland — 10:30 AM.

Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Today is Palm Sunday. We remember the day Jesus entered Jerusalem, welcomed by crowds waving palm branches and shouting praises to the King.

As we continue our series, "I Am," we’re looking closer at the heart of this King—the one who didn't come to be served, but to serve. If you’re looking for a place to reflect, grow, and find community this Easter season, we’d love to have you with us.

Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, you are welcome here. Come as you are!

Join us at 10:30 AM
