People of Southeast JBQ – September Spotlight: Officials!

It’s September, and this month we’re turning the spotlight on the people who help keep every match running—our JBQ OFFICIALS!
From Quizmasters and Judges to Scorekeepers and Timekeepers, our officials give their time and talents to make JBQ possible. Whether you’ve officiated for one season or for more years than you can count, we want to hear your story!

Please send us a short video (about 1 minute) and share:
How did you get involved in JBQ?
Why do you continue to serve as an official?
What has JBQ meant to you or your family?
Have a favorite memory from behind the quiz table? We’d love to hear that too!

Please include your first name and last initial, church or quiz team, and district. You can send videos to Dan or Carla through your Bible Quiz email or Facebook Messenger.

Officials, you may not be the ones sitting at the quiz table answering the questions, but you are a huge part of what makes this ministry work! As we continue celebrating 50 years of JBQ, we want to celebrate YOU and the countless hours you’ve invested in helping kids hide God’s Word in their hearts. So, grab your phone, hit record, and tell us your JBQ story!

We're also still taking videos from quizzers and coaches! We love hearing your JBQ stories!

Send your video to Dan Anderson, Carla S Pesce, or to Southeast JBQ on Facebook Messenger. You can also email your videos to your district coordinator. You don't have to make it perfect—we just want to hear your heart!

We can't wait to share the stories of the amazing coaches who make Southeast JBQ possible!

If there are any quizzers who would like to share, please continue to send videos. We will share them!

For 50 years, JBQ has been about so much more than questions and answers—it's been about people. Behind every quiz meet, every practice, every tournament, and every life changed is someone who has helped make this ministry what it is today. Throughout the rest of the 50th Anniversary year, we're excited to introduce People of Southeast JBQ, a series of short video testimonies celebrating the individuals who make this ministry so special.

Each month we'll feature a different group. In July, we will focus on Quizzers and Former Quizzers, and we'd love to hear YOUR story! We will release the schedule in a separate post. You may send your video at any time, and we will post it during the appropriate month.

Record a video (about 1 minute) sharing:
• How JBQ has impacted your life
• A favorite memory or experience
• What you love most about the ministry
• Words of encouragement for others

Please include:
•Your first name and last initial
•Your church or quiz team
•Your district

Videos can be sent to us through Facebook Messenger to this page, Dan Anderson, or Carla S Pesce. You may also send to your District JBQ Coordinator.

As we celebrate 50 years of God's faithfulness, let's honor the people who have made Southeast JBQ a ministry that changes lives, one question and one heart at a time. We can't wait to hear your story!
