Behind every confident quizzer is a coach who invested their time, encouragement, and heart. This month, we're celebrating the incredible coaches of Southeast JBQ! Whether you've coached for one season or many years, we'd love to hear your story.

For 50 years, JBQ has been about so much more than questions and answers—it's been about people. Behind every quiz meet, every practice, every tournament, and every life changed is someone who has helped make this ministry what it is today. Throughout the rest of the 50th Anniversary year, we're excited to introduce People of Southeast JBQ, a series of short video testimonies celebrating the individuals who make this ministry so special.

Each month we'll feature a different group. In July, we will focus on Quizzers and Former Quizzers, and we'd love to hear YOUR story! We will release the schedule in a separate post. You may send your video at any time, and we will post it during the appropriate month.

SOUTHEAST REGION MAKES HISTORY!

The National Junior Bible Quiz Festival concluded with extraordinary accomplishments for the Southeast Region.

For the first time in National JBQ Festival history, the Southeast Region had four of the top five teams' national placements. The individual tournament champion was also from the Southeast!

We are proud to recognize:

Jason D. (AIPF, Marietta, GA) — 1st Place Individual Tournament Champion in the first-ever National JBQ Individual Tournament

Spirit Squad (Haven Worship Center, Winter Haven, Florida) — 2026 National JBQ Champions

ATC Flames (Atlanta Tamil Church, Norcross, GA) — 2nd Place Team

ATC Fire (Atlanta Tamil Church, Norcross, GA) — 4th Place Team

AIPF Anointed Ones (Atlanta Indian Prayer Fellowship, Marietta, GA) — 5th Place Team

These achievements represent much more than awards and rankings. They reflect the commitment that our churches, coaches, parents, and quizzers have made to Scripture memorization, family discipleship, and helping children develop a lifelong relationship with God's Word.

We celebrate every quizzer who studied faithfully, every parent who encouraged and supported, every coach who invested countless hours, and every church that made Biblical literacy a priority.

Congratulations to these outstanding teams and individuals for representing the Southeast Region with excellence and for demonstrating the power of God's Word at work in the lives of young people.
