It is with heavy hearts that we pause to remember and honor the lives of Rev. JoAnn Robinson Barber and Lady Valdora Williams Armstrong. Two women of faith have transitioned from labor to reward, leaving behind legacies of love, service, strength, and devotion to God.

On behalf of the entire Boyd Friendship Missionary Baptist Church family, we extend our heartfelt love, prayers, and deepest condolences to the Barber and Armstrong families, their church families, and all whose lives were touched by these remarkable women.

In moments like these, we are reminded that while our hearts grieve, we do not grieve without hope. We thank God for lives well lived, faith faithfully demonstrated, and the assurance that for those who are in Christ, death does not have the final word.

May the Lord surround both families with His comfort, strengthen them in the days ahead, and grant them peace as they cherish precious memories.
