Christ's Church on the Move began as a vision that the Ch

urch is flesh and blood - not brick and mortar. The Church is made up of people who Believe and Follow Jesus. As people, we are not static - we’re kinetic. Our lives are in constant motion (in this day and age more than ever). We are always “on the Move.” And so we grabbed hold of this idea - The church is people, and we are kinetic - we are in motion. We are “on the move!”

When Jesus was talking to His disciples, He commanded them to GO out into the world and to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. He told them to Move Out - sharing the message of life with anyone they could. He started a movement of grace and love and redemption that has been passed down for centuries. We are His Church - when we gather together - the Church gathers; and when we Move - the Church Moves out to change the world. And just like He has down through time, Jesus is inviting us to JOIN THE MOVEMENT. When we decided to cast the vision for this community of believers - we wanted a name that would reflect our vision for what we hoped to be known for as we advanced the work of God’s Kingdom. We wanted to be a church that was always serving, always growing, always active, always helping, always transforming, always giving - in essence - always MOVING. Our name is a reminder of that mission. God is moving - and so are we - that people might know Jesus and be transformed by his grace! Here at Christ’s Church on the Move, we worship Jesus and we believe God has always been and continues to be “on the move.” Not only that, but we believe Jesus invites us to be His hands & feet and take His message of everlasting love and salvation to all who are far off. And so, we want to be a people who are “Moving with God to Move People to Life!”

🏕️🔥 A NEW ADVENTURE BEGINS THIS SUNDAY! 🔥🏕️

Get ready for "GOSPEL EXPEDITION: An Adventure Through the Life and Mission of Jesus!"

In this exciting new series, our kids will journey through the New Testament, discovering who Jesus is, learning how to follow Him, and preparing to share His Good News with others!

This Sunday, we’ll begin our expedition by learning that when life feels chaotic, "Jesus is our Firm Foundation!"

Today’s recap has Ezekiel 11:19 which is almost the same verse as the theme this month at CCM in 37:26-27. Look at God’s incredible timing! This theme has been planned on the church calendar since December of last year. These things encourage me when I get in my own space trying to control things and worried as if God forgot some little detail and I could “help” Him. Praise God, He sees all and knows all and is working all things together for our good and for His glory! - Jolee

Something new is coming to Wednesday nights!!
We’re excited to introduce Upper Room Student Ministries, the new student ministry at Christ’s Church on the Move.
And before anyone asks, no, we didn’t build an attic at the church. The name Upper Room comes from the place where Jesus’ followers gathered together. They prayed, learned, spent time together, and encountered God. That’s the kind of space we want Upper Room to be for our students: a place where they can be themselves, make real friendships, ask questions, grow in their faith, and most importantly, get to know Jesus.
Upper Room is for both middle and high school students, with separate small groups for each age group. Every Wednesday night will include games, a lesson, small groups, and plenty of time to hang out and get to know each other.

We’d love for your student to be part of it.
Beginning August 26th on Wednesdays from 6:00–7:30 PM
Doors open at 5:45 PM
We’re really excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to see you there.
