🧠 A Made Up Mind

Life will bring trials, uncertainty, rough waters, and unexpected circumstances—but the question is: Is your mind made up?

In this powerful message, we’re reminded that following Christ requires more than good intentions. We must have a willing mind, allow God to examine our hearts and thoughts, be willing to work on the areas He reveals, and stay focused on Him no matter what life brings.

Continuing in Ephesians 6, we took a deeper look at the Armor of God and what it means to “take up the whole armor of God.” The armor isn’t something we simply know about—it’s something we must intentionally put on as we prepare ourselves for the spiritual battles we face.

**Stolen Identity | LVA Church**

The enemy wants to steal more than your peace—he wants to steal your understanding of **who you are in Christ**.

In *Stolen Identity*, we look at three lies Satan uses to distort our identity: that we have to perform for God to earn His approval, that we should live in insecurity, and that our past still defines who we are.

But Scripture tells us something different:

> “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Your failures, mistakes, and past do not have the final word. **Your identity is found in Christ.**

Wednesday night, we continued our study through Ephesians 6 and the Armor of God. 🛡️

We were reminded that our strength doesn’t come from our own ability—it comes from the power and might of God. The battles we face may show up in the physical, but Scripture reminds us that our real struggle is spiritual.

We took a closer look at the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. Truth is where our armor begins. When we know God’s Word, we’re able to recognize the difference between what is true and what is almost true. As we study, meditate on, and live according to His Word, righteousness becomes part of how we live.

The armor of God isn’t something we simply know about—we have to put it on.

📖 “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” — Ephesians 6:11

The world has a lot to say about who we are—but what does God say?

Salt & Light | Matthew 5:13–16

What does it really mean to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world?

In this message, we discover that Jesus wasn't talking about literal salt—He was talking about His followers. Just as salt preserves, purifies, and brings flavor, believers are called to make a difference in a world that is losing its way. But when we compromise with the world, we begin to lose our distinct identity in Christ.

We'll also explore the incredible nature of light and why darkness can only exist where light has been removed. Jesus has called every believer to shine—not just inside the church, but everywhere we go.
