🍎 Fruit of the Spirit: GOODNESS 🍎

This morning in Arrows Children’s Church, we learned all about GOODNESS! 💛

We talked about how goodness means choosing to do what is right, showing kindness to others, and letting our lives reflect Jesus. ✝️

Our Arrows had so much fun learning, playing, and creating while being reminded that when we follow Jesus, His goodness can shine through us! 🌟

“For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;” — Ephesians 5:9 KJV

Today our Arrows learned about FAITHFULNESS! 🏹💛

We talked about how being faithful means being dependable, trustworthy, and keeping our promises—even when it isn’t always easy. Most importantly, we learned that God is always faithful to us. He keeps His promises, loves us, and never leaves us! 🙌

Our prayer is that our Arrows will grow to be kids who can be counted on—to be faithful to God, their families, their friends, and the things God has called them to do.

🏹 Growing strong. Standing firm. Staying faithful.

🌿 Fruit of the Spirit: Gentleness 🌿

Our Arrows had a great morning learning about GENTLENESS! 🏹💗

Today we learned that gentleness shows in the way we speak to others. Our words can hurt, or they can help bring peace.

📖 “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” — Proverbs 15:1 KJV

We challenged our Arrows to choose gentle words and show the love of Jesus in the way they treat others this week! ❤️

This morning, our Arrows learned all about SELF-CONTROL! ❤️

📖 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” — Proverbs 25:28 KJV

We learned that just like walls protected a city, self-control helps protect our hearts, our words, our actions, and our choices. When we stop, think, pray, and choose what is right instead of simply reacting, we are practicing self-control.

We talked about ways we can practice self-control every day—being patient, controlling our words when we’re upset, walking away from arguments, waiting our turn, and making good choices even when it’s hard.

🏹 Stop. Think. Pray. Choose wisely.

We’re so thankful for another Sunday morning learning and growing together in God’s Word! ❤️

Today was such a special day at Kemper Baptist Church as we celebrated our Blessing of the Backpacks! 🎒❤️

We prayed over our students, teachers, and school staff as they begin a new school year. We asked God to give them wisdom, courage, protection, kindness, and a heart that reflects His love everywhere they go.

To every child heading back to school this week, remember: You are loved, you are prayed for, and you are never alone. We are cheering you on and can’t wait to see what God has in store for you this year!

Thank you to all of our families for being part of this special morning. We’re excited to walk alongside your children as they grow in faith throughout the year.

This morning in Arrows Children’s Church, we learned about Kindness—another beautiful fruit of the Spirit! 🍎💛

We discovered that kindness is more than just being nice. It’s choosing to love others the way Jesus loves us through our words, our actions, and our hearts. We talked about how even small acts of kindness can make a big difference and point others to Christ.

Our prayer is that our children will go into this week looking for opportunities to show kindness at home, at school, and everywhere they go.

“Be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” — Ephesians 4:32

This morning all of our Arrows learned that patience is choosing to trust God’s timing while waiting with a good attitude. We discovered that patience isn’t always easy, but God helps us stay calm, be kind, and wait without complaining.

Through our lesson, activities, and discussions, the kids learned that we can show patience with our family, friends, teachers, and even ourselves because God is patient with us every day.

We’re so proud of our Arrows and pray they’ll let the Holy Spirit help them grow in patience this week! 💚

🕊️💙 Fruit of the Spirit: Peace 💙🕊️

What a wonderful morning in Children’s Church! Today our Little Arrows and Big Arrows learned that true peace comes from trusting Jesus, even when life feels stormy. We studied how Jesus calmed the storm and were reminded that He can bring peace to our hearts too.

📖 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you…” — John 14:27 (KJV)

We are so thankful for each child who joined us today. We pray they will remember this week that no matter what they face, Jesus is always with them and His peace is greater than any storm. ❤️
